Greetings,

I won't be able to tell you where exactly to purchase the booster packs, as it will vary from location to location. Many local hobby shops that carry Pokemon TCG cards may have the new booster packs with the codes available. Some have also reported shops such as Target or Walmart carrying them. However, regardless of which you go to, make sure that the pack has the Play Online ID attached to it.

Hope this helps!

The picture of the Play Online ID tag will be on the back of the packaging, along with the wrords, "Contains Code Card. This card gives you access to the beta for the TCG Online"

Thanks!

Hello ^_^ as another Prof said, I think it was Prof_Snow, the major retailers like Walmart or Target do not stock them yet, it is more the specialist niche hobby stores that have them. The closed beta is mainly for testing purposes so to release packages with the redemption codes widely when the game is not officially released yet wouldn't be in the interest of the general players ^^.

You might be able to find some of these booster packs online or as mentioned in the other stores. To tell if the booster pack contains the online redemption code look for the red arrow which marks the play online feature, if the pack doesn't have it then it won't contain the special card which has the code.

If you don't find a booster pack with the red arrow logo on it then I would suggest either

(a) buy a theme deck with the logo on it (either Red Frenzy, Green Tornado, or Blue Assault. The Nightfall and Daybreak or any other deck won't have the online redemption code at this moment).

Note: this won't gain you access to the closed beta

(B) wait until August when the Emerging Powers booster packs will be released as they will all have the online redemption code.

I was writing this as Prof Proto responded -.^ oh well
