Black Screen

This sounds like it could be a resolution issue. Please try the following:


If you're using Windows, you can enter a windowed version of the game by launching it and then pressing Alt+Enter. Alternately, you can right-click the Pokémon TCG Online icon on your desktop, click "Properties" and then the Compatibility tab, and select the "Run in 640x480 screen resolution" option.


Once you enter the game, you can play around with the different resolution options until you find one that works on your monitor. To get to the Options window, simply click the two gears symbol (it will be at the top or bottom of the screen, depending on which part of the game you're on) and navigate to the Video tab.


This could also be a game crash. In that case, I recommend submitting a ticket to the support team for individual investigation. You can do so by clicking the link in my signature, signing in, and clicking "Ask a Question". Please add as much detail as possible to your ticket, including any crash reports or error codes you may be receiving, a summary of your system specs (obtainable via DxDiag for Windows or System Profiler for Mac), and a note as to whether or not you're using two monitors.
