Fighting Stadium

It's either a bug or some wierd meaning behind "the Defending Pokémon-EX". Note that it doesn't say "the opponent's active Pokémon-EX". That could be it, or, as stated, it could just be a bug. I think we need some clarification on this, because I'm lost here. XD

I am not sure what the right answer is however you might ask why strong energy wouldn't do the same for Landorus-ex. Wording for strong energy is

"Opponents Active Pokemon"

Stadium says

"Defending Pokemon-Ex"

If your resolving an attack on a benched pokemon is he considered the current defending pokemon?

Hello Trainers!

From the Pokegym rules compendium:

Q. What's the exact definition of "Defending Pokémon"?

A. It is your opponent's Active Pokemon when you are attacking. (Jul 19, 2001 WotC Chat, Q40)

This means that damage received by benched Pokémon-EX should not be increased. This has been forwarded to the Dev team, so I will be closing this thread.

I hope this was helpful! :)
