got screen freeze a lot of time

i played in versus mode


for 3 games and got screen freeze all game in a row


this happened after new patch updated


when i ctrl+alt+del, it say not responding so i end up used "End task"


i restarted my comp after 2nd freeze but it still nothing improve


this might be a patching bug


hope u fix it soon


my system is windows7

Certain parts of the game require additional system resources, and as a result things may get choppy or freeze in certain areas depending on your system configuration.


Here are some things that you can try in order to improve performance:



  • Ensure that you have the newest video and audio drivers for your system, downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
  • Once in the game, go to your Settings and change performance to "Fastest" and uncheck the special effect boxes, lower your game resolution to 1024x768.
  • Try switching the game to windowed mode from the in-game Settings.
  • Try running TCGO from the “Refresher” file, which can be found in your “Pokemon Trading Card Game Online” folder.
  • Run a virus / malware scan. From your Windows system accessories run Disk Defragmenter.
  • Before running TCGO, close any unnecessary background programs (web browsers, word processor, etc.).
  • If all else fails, we ask that you try reinstalling the game.
