Feature to report toxic players

I was on the receiving end of some very unpleasant words and behaviour by a player (fortunately it only served to be amusing rather than frustrating), so I wanted to do something about it. However, there wasn't such a feature and it seems a bit trivial to send it up to Pokemon.com support. I know that at least one version of the client keeps chat logs and bans people accordingly of which the exact mechanism I am not certain of, but it would be great to have a feature to allow players to report the behaviour of highly toxic players. This would allow us to nab players who are purposefully bypassing the chat filter/manipulating the system (disconnecting et al) to frustrate their opponents, generally when losing.

 

Of course, if there is already such a system in place, I would like to be pointed in its general direction.

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. At the moment, you can report players by clicking the silhouette of a head next to a player's name in the lobbies, private messaging, or player search. Simply click the red exclamation point icon that pops up, confirm, and fill out the details of your report.

 

If you're unable to find this user again, I recommend submitting a ticket to the support team with the details of your report so we can have it investigated straight away.

Thank you Professor Poplar. As some time has passed, I have submitted a report to the support team via the Others field. It would be nice, however, to be able to search for unrelated players (i.e. not a friend or a blocked player) who are offline and thus not in the lobbies.
