Garbodor (garbotoxin ability) bug or trevenant (ability)

I have built myself a Trev/accelgor deck with garbodor (garbotoxin) to counter Virizion Ex and Keldeo EX, however, my garbodor ability with a tool card wont cancel my active trevenant ability, my opponent cannot activate any item cards still even with garotoxin is active plus any other abilities as well expect my trevenant. Garbodor ability negates my opponents trevenant (forest curse) but doesn't negate my trevenant (ability) in play when I play garbodor with a tool card. This makes this deck very overpowering with paralysis, poison, no abilities and prevents item cards. I don't know the bug is from trevenant or garbodor.

We were unable to replicate this issue through many different scenarios. It would be incredibly helpful if you could provide more information in the form of reproduction steps. Was Trubbish evolved into Garbodor and then given a tool card? Was your Trevenant evolved before or after Garbodor, and was it in the active position before or after Garbodor's ability was activated?

 

Also, providing us with the exact set/card number of the Garbodor and the attached tool may help.

ok, I give more tests with garbodor and trevenant and seewhich order and abilities work first.

I too just encountered a problem with garbodor and trevenant. Once my opponent evolved into trevenant (while in the active postion) forest curse was triggered like it should. However, I had a trubbish on the bench with a float stone attached and on my next turn I evolved him into garbodor which should have shut off trevenant's ability, but it did not. To make things worse I was unable to use item cards for the rest of the game. Even after trevenant was KO'ed (my garbodor still on the bench with a float stone attached to it) I could not use any item cards.

We have attempted replication with the specific steps listed and unfortunately still can't get this bug to occur.

 

If you experience this again and can take a screenshot, that might aid in our investigation! Simply submit a ticket via the link in my signature with an attached image file and reference to this thread. Any other information you could provide, including specific card numbers for all cards in play, would help greatly as well.
