The Trading Card League:

 

 

The goal:

- Challenge all the gyms, collect the badges and beat the Elite 4.

 

How it works + General rules:

- Choose which format you want to play and challenge one of the gyms!

- The rules in a Gym applies to both the challenger and the leader.

- You must beat all the leaders in a certain gym in a row to earn a badge.

- When you have earned all the badge's you can challenge the elite 4.

- If you loose a game you will not be able to challenge any other leader for 2 days. We refer to this rule as Cool-Down.

- You can challenge multiple Gyms at the same time. While you can only lose progress in a certain gym if you loose against a leader inside that gym.

- You are not allowed to change decks until you fail once you have challenged a Gym. Unless one of the gyms rules says otherwise.

- Exploiting bugged cards is not allowed and will result in an automatic loss for the challenger.

- Bringing illegal cards in limited formats will result in an automatic loss for the challenger.

 

 

The Formats:

- Standard

- Expanded (Only cards from Black and White base set and later is allowed)

- Unlimited (every card is allowed, HGSS-On)

Completed Gyms:

 

Narrow Gym:

As you can tell by the name, this gym forces you to battle in a very cramped area. This brings you closer to action than you have ever experienced before, opening up several new strategies and tactics! The gym leaders Cymantex and Azimuthal have mastered this form of battling and will teach you the true horror of battling in a cramped space. Beware! Many challengers who enters this Gym often leave with claustrophobia!

Gym Leaders - Cymantex and Azimuthal!

Rules:

- You can only have 1 copy of each card in your deck, an exception being energy cards!

- You are also allowed to have up to 2-2 of a stage 1/Mega line and 2-2-2 of a stage 2 line.

- Trainers which does the exact same thing (for example Pokemon Catcher - Pokemon Reversal and Cheren - Tierno) are treated as the same card.

- All decks are allowed.

- If you get defeated your trading card league challenge will be restarted.

The Battle Frontier Challenge:

 

 

The goal:

- Beat every brain in each facility and earn their symbols. Then you can challenge the Battle Pyramid for a chance of becoming champion of the Battle Frontier.

 

 

General rules:

- You are allowed to change and use any deck you want during the challenge unless one of the Battle Facilities rules prevents it.

- First player to win one game decides the challenge unless a Battle Facility rule states otherwise.

- If you loose a game you will not be able to challenge any other brain for 2 days. We refer to this rule as Cool-Down.

- You can challenge multiple Battle Facilities at the same time. While you can only lose progress in a certain facility if you loose against a frontier brain inside that facility.

- Exploiting bugged cards is not allowed and will result in an automatic loss for the challenger.

 

 

 

Battle Tower:

Rules:

- Standard/Modified Format

- Beat both brains in a row to earn the ability symbol.

 

 

 

Battle Dome:

- Beat both brains in a row to earn the tactics symbol.

 

 

 

Battle Palace:

Frontier Brain - Player 5!

Rules:

- Standard Format

- EX cards are banned.

- Games are played in a best out of 3 match.

- You are not allowed to change decks after a match is started.

Optional Rule:

- Pokémon with more than 100hp are banned.

 

 

 

Battle Factory:

Frontier Brain - Player 6!

- Games are played in a best out of 3 match.

- You are not allowed to change decks after a match has started.

- You are allowed to change decks when challenging the second brain.

- Beat both brains in a row to earn the ??? symbol.

 

 

 

Battle Pike:

Frontier Brain - Player 10!

Rules:

- Standard Format

- All Pokémon in your deck must be of the same type!

- Games are played in a best out of 3 match.

 

 

 

Battle Pyramid:

The Battle Pyramid only appears to those who have obtained all the other frontier symbols. Great treasures and glory awaits those who conquers the Battle Pyramid!

However beware! The challenge is both very dangerous and shrouded in mystery. No one knows what sort of battle awaits!

It actually does exist in England apparently. I would assume they're about the same price as darkrai and giratina promos

That's good to know. Does anyone know more specifically how it's acquired? I'm quite surprised it's exclusive to England.
