Rock Guard

Rock guard gives me 60damage whenever I attack the opponent's pokemon and quickly ends me in no time.

What's the best tactic to deal with this tool card?

Tool scrapper. Unless the opponent is playing Sableye, they won't be getting the tool back anytime soon.

Some more creative solutions would be some pokemon that remove tools with their attacks, such as Chatot or Bouffalant, but these require energy to pull off while scrapper is a simple item drop. I hope that helps.

you could also play the new Spiritomb to prevent your opponent from playing the ace spec card, just makesure you don't disadvantage yourself when you choose this strategy(play your ace spec before playing the spiritomb or play no ace spec)

Skyla + Tool Scrapper is your best friend. But having played rock guard also means no computer search, no dowsing machine.
