Chat and Friends aren't working

Hi there is no chat box appearing at the bottom screen anymore and my friend list is greyed out. It says something about chat being disabled and to check the forums.

This is a known issue that we are currently looking into. We recommend that you uninstall, download the game again and reinstall. If this does not help, please contact Customer Support by clicking on the link in my signature and using the "Ask a Question" feature. If reinstalling doesn't work, we will need to know your OS and system specs.
