Hi there,

 

Try starting the game from Refresher.exe. This file can be found in the folder where the game is installed – you can do a search for Pokemon Trading Card Game Online, and you will find it in that folder.

 

If that doesn't work, go to your Pokemon Trading Card Game Online folder, right click on the file Pokemon Trading Card Game Online.exe and click on 'Run as administrator'.

 

If all else fails, please note that uninstalling and reinstalling tends to resolve most issues.

 

 

  1. Go to the Programs and Features section your computer's Control Panel. Select the game and uninstall it.
  2. Go to the directory where the game was installed. The default directory is C:\Users\your user name\AppData.
  3. The game stores files in the LocalLow and Roaming folders. Go into the LocalLow folder and delete the "The Pok_mon Company International" folder. Go into the Roaming folder and delete the "Pokemon Trading Card Game Online" folder.
  4. Empty your Recycle Bin.

 

Windows 8

 

Unfortunately, TCGO does not yet feature support for Windows 8. While the game does work for some Windows 8 users, it doesn't work for others. Because the game does not yet support this OS, we do not to have technical support available for Windows 8 users.

I've got the same issue; I have tried all of your suggestions but no success as of yet. I'm going to contact the tech-support and see if they have any better ideas. Thanks anyway; and I'll post the solution if I find one
