Will B/W cards be removed from modified?

I was just thinking, and I know a lot of other people are thinking this as well. Will the release of Pokémon cards from X/Y put the cards from B/W out of modified format? I fear that they will. What do you people think? WILL X/Y SHUT OUT B/W SETS FROM MODIFIED? :eek:

When rotation happened in tournament play, rotation will happen here. So Modified will follow real life Modified Tournament play. Current rumor is that it will be Next Destiny on. (Start of the EXs). Rotation is usual announced after the Worlds Tournament (Aug 9-11) for the next season.

cards from Noble Victories like N, Eviolite, Archeops, Terrakion, Virizion, Victini, Hydreigon and Rocky Helmet has been reprinted so you can use those cards in Modified.

It has been confirmed by POP that the 2014 Season will be Next Destinies on. However, thanks to Battler007, he reminded me that Pokemon Catcher will still be allowed due to its reprint as an SR.

And one more sort-of related question. Do you guys think the price or demand of HGSS set packs or B/W Base Set packs will rise because of the newest update not giving booster credits? I say this because these sets do not come with codes, so basically, the only HGSS or B/W base set packs out there are the ones already owned by trainers. I'm considering investing some of my FAs in these packs so please answer. Thanks!

yep, and it has been reprinted in the Master Deck Build Box EX and the EX Battle Boost.

Also accelgor/gothitelle deck is short lived, really unfortunate

 

although virizion ex would put it down a level.

 

I kind of hope that a secret rare KlingK SG is released in the future, although its probably unlikely, we don't know if they'd do ultra rares after X and Y

 

and it seems swampert is the the only starter missing in pokemon BLW set, and all seems to late to have on

and the new upcoming legal format is Next Destinies onward

There's really no point dreading this because its obvious and inevitable that new, awesome decks will be formed with the new expansions coming, just like they always have in the past. Have no fear.

Rayquaza-EX is still in format. Luckily for us, Dynamotor Eelektrik has been reprinted in the Master Deck Build Box EX. Nintendo won´t drop such a jewel.
