Garbador's garbatoxin did not cancel abilities already in play.

My opponent has gothitelle in play. i have a trubbish with float stone, I evolved my trubbish to garbador with garbatoxin ability, after that i tried to use my items and still couldnt meaning gothitelle's ability is still active. On the next turn, I have an Audino with busybody ability, I tried to heal my poisoned active pokemon for 10 damage and remove poison but it won't let me. I think the bug is, all abilities after garbatoxin becomes active is disabled, but abilities in play stills remain available for use either that or it just does not cancel gothitelle's ability. I have a screenshot but im not sure if i can upload it here.
