sup brahs, FCM here.

bringin u a fresh new deck i've created today. it's pretty based on luck and its more for havin some fun than really play competitive.

the deck is obviously build around the new plasma freeze vanilluxe with his chillmax attack. it only cost 1 colorless energy and u flip a coin for every energy attached to it. every time u hit head it will hit the opps poke for 60 damage which is pretty nice becoz 2 or 3 energy can be placed pretty quick on a poke esspecially if its a team plasma poke and u can use colress machine or deluge blastoise. the next poke which supports it is fliptini. everyone knows what it does and it can help in some situations.

enough for that, lemme show u my deck so far:

pokes:

3-1-3 vanilluxe (all pf)

2-1-2 blastoise (deluge ; squirtle with ability)

1x fliptini (got just one atm, tomorrow im tryin to get another..2x is a must have imo)

1x crygonal (pf; for 1 water energy u can search for a water type which can be useful + i want to test this poke; maybe 2?)

1x manaphy (ps; for 1 water energy u flip 3x -> every head u can attach 1 water energy from your deck to a poke; nice in combination with fliptini and amazing energy accelaration for vanilluxe; amazing ability: if your opp knocks it out u can search for a card in your deck; maybe 2x?)

pokemon replacedments: maybe a poke which could be usefull against some threads + can use blend energy? maybe a fire poke against steel decks and how many fire energy?

trainers:

1x tool scrapper (garbotoxin/rock guard/float stone/etc.)

1x super energy retrieval (works awesome with blastoise; maybe 2x?)

3x pokecatcher

3x switch

1x super rod

1x dowsing machine (best ace spec in this deck imo)

4x rare candy

1x random reciever (more consistency to get a supporter if needed)

1x ultra ball (maybe 1 more)

2x level ball (maybe 1 more)

2x plasma ball (nice to get vanilluxe into your hand or crygonal)

4x juniper

3x n

1x colress

3x skyla

1x bianca (not sure if needed)

1x cilan (works pretty nice with deluge blastoise; one is imo enough)

what i've tried: 3x colress mashine + 3 plasma energy (didnt work too well and 3x mashine takes too much place in th deck, frozen city (was okay but sometimes blastoise have to take the lead and then your basically wreck your own poke)

what could be edited in this deck: a counter stadium for virbank (battle city, skyarrow?) or use own virbank with laser?

energy:

12x water energy

hope u can help me this is my first real deck which i build on my own ;)

im pretty sure there can be some improvements to get this deck a bit more consistent and create an awesome synergy between all pokes and trainer support

peace out 8)

Manaphy is overall a weak pokemon I'd use a catcher and KO it. Since you only want it up front, you should switch it out with another pokemon that allows you to take energy, attach it, while attacking. This will take out a lot of the weight of this deck. I sadly have to say I just built it and setting it up takes a long time especially with the 3-1-3 and the 2-1-2 line. More comments coming soon!

If I were to make this deck then I would add 1 more Wartortle and 1 more Vanillish and maybe another Cryogonal perhaps.I would use a Keldeo EX instead of a Fliptini and I would add some DCEs(Double Colorless Energies). DCEs would be needed for having Keldeo attack faster and for Deluge Blastoise and Vanilluxe ChillMAX too.

too much energy..no supporters besides colress.

4x juniper and 3/4x n in a deck is a must have. same goes for 2-3x skyla, 3/4x pokemon catcher etc.

i would keep like 12 darkness energy.

check out a tutorial how to build a deck to understand why and how many supporters, trainers or energy cards u need. idk if u find something like that here on forums but im sure there are some useful tutorials in yt (why is long version censored :o )

Second Deck:

The Idea is to get out Infernape/Chandelure(Both PF or Inferno) out quickly by using Skyla(Again)/Candies/Team Plasma Balls and try to use the Inferno/Malevolent Fire at the first turn when evolved. And if I get the Chandelure(PF)out quickly,I could use the Inferno/Malevolent FIre In the Next turn.

Third Deck:

The Strategy is to get out the Crobat Quickly and Use ultra Toxic fang and use skyla to get Candies/Team Plasma Ball and virbanks to do 60 damage between turns(by even not attacking!lol)Mewtwo Is for Back-up if anything goes wrong

First off, your supporter line is lacking seriously. I would suggest having about 14-16 energies and seriously increase supporters. I would definitely include Juniper. Second, consider running some Sableye. They're a great start for Dark decks and can help retrieve some discarded/used items. Next: definitely put in Pokemon Catcher. You will want them!!!! Lastly, consider putting in a Keldeo with Float Stone. This gives a free retreat to help counter special conditions. Hope this advice helps! Good luck and God bless!

Okay, here's my "Plasma Freeze on the Cheap" deck, evolved from an Eevee deck I posted about a week or so ago. I'm quite happy with it at this point: it's fun to play and it takes a decent number of wins, even in Expert Mode. Easiest matchups are Keldeo/Blastoise/Black Kyurem, Landorus/Terrakion/whatever and Rayeels; hardest are Hammertime and Thundurus/Deoxys/Kyurem. But it will occasionally beat even these.

15 Pokemon:

4x Eevee (PF 90 - Signs of Evolution)

2x Leafeon (PF 11)

2x Umbreon (PF 64)

2x Absol (PF 67)

3x Kyurem (PF 31)

2x Keldeo EX (BC 49)

31 Trainers:

3x Colress Machine (PS 119)

1x Computer Search (BC 137)

4x Hypnotoxic Laser (PS 123)

3x Pokemon Catcher (EP 95)

2x Super Rod (DRV 20)

2x Team Plasma Ball (PF 105)

2x Bianca (EP 90)

2x Colress (PS 118)

3x N (NV 92)

3x Professor Juniper (DE 98)

2x Shadow Triad (PF 102)

2x Virbank City Gym (PS 126)

2x Float Stone (PF 99)

14 Energy:

5x Water

3x Darkness

2x Prism Energy (ND 93)

4x Plasma Energy (PF 106)

The strategy is to lead with Kyurem and with a little luck do thirty damage to a couple of Pokemon on T1 and knock out an EX with Blizzard Burn (120) and Laser/Virbank on T2. Use Keldeo EX/Float Stone to allow Kyurem to use Blizzard Burn every turn. Bring out Absol when opponent's bench fills up, Leafeon when opponent has a lot of energy in play. Switch rapidly to take advantage of the active Pokemon's weakness. You can do damage almost every turn with this deck, and as Keldeo is the only EX and does not stay in active position, you don't have to play a lot of defense.

The deck seems very tight. I'd like one or two more supporters, but can't figure out how to fit them in. Another Catcher perhaps, but no room for that either. Suggestions?

Ares: there's a thread on a Chandelure/White Kyurem EX deck over at the Pokebeach deck list forum, with a list. You might want to check that out. Looks like it could be a good deck.

  • 3 weeks later...

I posted a topic about this but didn't really get any responses, so I'm putting a slightly retooled version here for tips:

Pokemon (16):

x2 Larvest (DEX)

x2 Volcarona (Ability)

x4 Numel

x4 Camerupt

x2 Victini ( Victory Star )

x2 Sableye (Junk Hunt)

Trainers (30):

x1 Rock Guard

x2 Heavy Ball

x4 Level ball

x2 Switch

x3 Virbank City Gym

x4 Hypnotoxic Laser

x4 Pokemon Catcher

x2 Skyla

x4 N

x4 Juniper

Energy (14):

x6 Fire

x4 Fire/dark blend

x4 DCE

Basic premise revolves around camerupt's first attack, fire shard. For 2 colorless and a fire, it does 60 damage, burns the target and on a heads paralyzes as well. Victini gives you a second chance to get the paralyzation, and volcarona is a bonus that doubles the burn damage. Mixed with laser+bank, the deck potentially does 200 damage turn 2, which isn't bad but is very coin flip dependant.

I play a deck very similar to this. 4-1-4 Chandelure, 4 Reshiram, and 2 Entei. The basic idea is to use Blue Flare every turn. This deck is very similar. Now, first off, go hardcore 4 Juniper. You will need them. Second, the basic premise is to bring out White Kyurem and power him up in about 2 turns. So, if you attach Water Energy from your hand, then use Flare Navigate three times, then his White Inferno will do 130 damage. Then, add in Crystal Edge, and you're set. 180 damage every turn. Oh yeah, it goes up when you get hit too. :)

I'm not sure if my cards in my Grass deck have Synergy or what, but it be nice if someone could figure out what's wrong with my deck. Shaymin is for Energy Support, Mewtwo is my obvious sweeper, Serperior is stays on my bench to heal the team.

Something you might consider is reuniclus. It is a stage 2, but being able to spread damage across your pokemon would mean more healed per turn with serperior's ability. That would also synergize well with max potions, letting you move all the damage to something that doesn't have energy on it. Doesn't look like you will be short on bench space, so you could try it.
