Plz remove hgss cards

I think it is finally time to remove these cards from the game as it isn't apart of our format anymore. I don't understand why we can still purchase these packs in the store, but if this game is meant to get more people into the card game of pokemon in the real life, the online game should follow the same format as the real game. Furthermore many players including myself trying to test for this new format can't do so with players using a mix of this format and an older one.

We can't just remove the cards from the game without a complete wipe of all the cards and a re-start of the game. Explain to me how someone is going to feel having a couple of 1000 older cards disappear from their collection including cards like Col Energies which make our decks look cooler. Sure some sort of refund of packs could be calculated but how would it be done and would it lead to people rushing to obtain HS cards or not.

 

If u wanna have a complete collection wipe of all the cards and get rid of HS that's fine, but I would rather stick with where I am at the moment with the collection that I have and if i wanna run bw-on [which I do] i will test decks with Friends who also run bw-on which will give me better testing results than going on expert V random opponent's with unknown skill levels anyway.

WHY REMOVE HGSS, its a nice format!

the BW cards ruined the format, darkrai and rayquaza are boring

in hgsss there were decks with nice strategies and no overpowered decks

but for those people who hate hgss, i use BW-on decks in expert mode

for novice and friend battles i still use the truth, its strong and fun to play

if hgss is removed, half my collection is removed, thats like i get punished for nothing!

so dont remove them, i you dont like it, dont buy them!

The answer is format selection not remove from game, and we have already been told format selection will be rolled out at some point in the future. I do agree it becomes quite annoying when you are playing a 100% legal deck and your oppnent busts out a Prof Oak or a Prime or any other out of format competitve card. I dont think it would be possible to remove the cards due to the fact that people spent money on packs to get there codes to obtain these cards. They would need to have record of every non BW-ON pack each player has opened and refund them credits and i dont see that happening.

 

Give it time, the game is in beta and feature seem to be rolling out a lot quicker lately.

But if I remember correctly in Yu-Gi-Oh! there was an option about advanced format and non advanced or something like this. A format option in the versus-mode could be a nice add-on. Like BW / HGSS / Free Play or else ...

Hold It! I believe there is a solution we can all agree on! Both HGSS and straight B/W players!

 

Why not make a play type? A play type that states no HGSS, and a play type for B/W on? Also a no EX play type, an only EX play type (Maybe), and so on! That would make the game much more addaptable to all players!

All we need is a Choice to play a certain format. That's it. One HGSS below, One bw-on, one everything. Or at least On bw-on and one of everything to give the ppl who play competetive actual pratice.
