some help, please?

so, i try to put pics and gifs on here, but every time i do, it won't let me. i've asked some other people how to do it, but it doesn't work. any suggestions or anything on how i can post pics and gifs? i've seen lots of other people able to.

Could you be more specific on how it won't let you? I mean, if you've asked some other people, I'm not sure what to tell you.

okay, so like, i asked some friends, and they said just to copy, then paste. but the picture/gif doesn't show up. one of them said to copy the url, click the mountain thing, then paste the url in that, but when i click on the mountain tab, it pops up a window, and i try to paste the url, but that doesn't work either. the only way i've found to put pics on here, is to save the pic, then copy-paste the thing in the post. but then i'm the only one who can see the pic. i'm stuck and don't know what to do. i'd just like to know how other people do it, cuz i've seen lots of people put pics and gifs on here.

Well, what I've been doing from the start is paste the url into both tabs of the mountain window.

 

There's the information tab that you see first, but next to that is a "Link" tab which also requires an URL.

 

Try pasting the URL in there, as well as into the information tab URL box, and see if it works then.

Well, heres how I post Pictures.

[*]Go to Google Images, click on the picture, and a little bar will appear on the side will appear.

[*]Hit 'Full size image' and copy the URL

[*]Go to where you want to post it

[*]Click the mountian looking button

[*]Paste the URL

Yeah...i tried that, but...it pops up a grayish, brownish little window, i try to right-click, and paste, but nothing happens. Then i have to refresh the page cuz i can't close it. Why do i always have the dumb problems...

Weird... works fine for me. If you cant get a pick, the best thing is just to do a hyperlink.
