Getting better cards IRL?

Just today, I bought two next destinies booster packs at target. I ended up with a Zekrom and a holo uncommon Raichu. This was great since those cards were on my wish list (to update basic yellow). The only problem is that basic yellow is online so those cards are useless. I enter the codes and while not a complete bust (I get the luxray lineup, giving me something new to play with), I would have prefered the zekrom and raichu.

 

This wasn't even the first time that I ended up with better cards in the pack. One time I got a pokemon EX in the booster while getting a bunch of garbage online. I'm not complaining, I just think it's ironic that I have several cards that could help my deck, but am unable to use them in the online game.

 

 

 

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I frequently get cards online that I would rather have received IRL and vice versa. However, I would say that overall, I get better cards online than IRL.
