yeah. gotta be careful, though. you have to catch them after you finish the game for the first time, i think. after that, it won't let you catch them any other time. i learned that the hard way.

edit: or before you finish the game the first time. its one of those two

yeah, i see it as you finishing the game the first time, when you beat the elite four, and when you beat down team plasma, and in the end watch N fly away on reshiram/zekrom. the second time is when you beat the elite four, and then alder.

yeah. but they do really resist getting caught, though. and i'd use a sandile/krokorok to fight elesa, with her zebstrika and emolga's, you'll need a ground type that can also know rock type moves. or any other pokemon you have like that.

I think it's stupid that her emolgas use the uturn combo forever makes it so hard to beat <img src="http://www.pokemontcg.com/javascripts/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/png/angry_smile.png" alt="" />

lol. well, that's just how it is. she is a gym leader, so she uses whatever tricks will work. that's why i use'd a palpitoad to fight her.

i don't know, but if you wanted, you could borrow my seismitoad to fight her. i lend my pokemon to my sis all the time, and then she trades them back to me after. just send me some useless pokemon or whatever, and i'll hold onto it until you want to trade me back my pokemon.

yeah, no prob. and good, someone who doesn't cheat their way through the game! my sis uses super strong pokemon she got from trades, so she can just cheat and race through the game. i perfer to train and battle with my own. it's way more enjoyable that way. and good luck battling elesa!

cool, i usually can't beat them until after i finish the game! you gotta be a really good battler to get to them. i guess you are, if you beat them.

figures, you let your partner do the heavy lifting XD one strategy you could try with a grass type, like i did with my venasaur, have it know the moves protect, leech seed, toxic, and then some other move like energy ball or something. it always works!
