I'm getting bored of playing against Basic Yellow deck. Petition to give noobs Basic Red/Green/Blue?

I'm getting really bored of playing against the Basic Yellow deck. Petition to give newbs the Basic Red, Green and Blue decks like before?

i think moderators should come up with some kind of reward system soon. Else most of the players will leave just as soon as they came.

 

I mean whats the point of playing the game then if all you have is a default deck .... and no way to obtain more cards.

I think the idea is to get you to buy booster packs with the codes in them. They make money to support the game that way.

 

Although I think giving them the red, green, and blue decks would be wise as they have options to change some stuff up then, and it wouldn't get old as quickly.

Don't count on it, this game is supported through the purchasing of booster packs and decks. Giving away 4 free decks to players who have made little to no finacial support wouldn't be the best move in progressing this game.

I would argue it would be better to create new starter decks given the imminent rotation in the format. Most if not all of the cards in the existing basic decks will be rotated out, so is a poor introduction to the current state of the game.

 

Maybe make it so that a second or third deck can only be unlocked if they've redeemed a certain number of codes? That way, people who have made some investment but cannot build an effective deck from the cards they have redeemed have a better chance of making a playable deck. This is particularly important so long as trading is unreleased. Remember that it also works both ways - people who have redeemed codes don't want to be constantly playing against the same decks repeatedly.

Typically the ones who have made investments in enhancing there gaming do so on a regular basis. I myself go through no less then 100 codes redeemed per month. They will just steer clear of the novice level play if they want to face more different and powerful decks.

 

I don't mean to say they shouldn't give more decks/cards to start up players. However i can see logically why they wouldn't and i don't foresee them doing it because to this point the only thing they have ever given away is the tokens which cant be used at this time and the basic yellow deck.

My friend made an account today and went through the Trainer Challenge to unlock all 3 basic decks, so it it still possible. The only change is that the cards automatically go into your collection instead of showing up as a pack. In fact, even if you have previously unlocked the basic decks, you can unlock them again, giving you more of the same cards and some specially designed energies that weren't available before.

I hope it's not a glitch where only the new players who downloaded after the new updates can unlock the decks. I'm currently redueling everyone hoping to be able to add my decks to the collection.

 

The yellow deck is nice, but it would be especially nice to duel people with the blue deck (my favorite).

I doubt it. I'm in the process of unlocking the decks again to get the detailed energies, and I've already done so with two decks, so it is possible for everyone regardless of whether or not they joined before or after the update.

Well I beat all of the opponents with the blue deck. It's not added to my collection. Am I supposed to beat them in order? Or multiple times? Or with all decks?

So i have find out that while the decks don't appear as the yellow one does...you know as a deck ,the card are there.

 

When you go to view all card you have the fire and water and grass.

 

Kinda annoying but doesn't bother me so much as i make my own deck anyway.

Well i have been playing since the olden days...when prehistoric pokemon still walked the pokeworld, so it can be that i kept the unlocks from then....actually that would explain a lot...a lot of basic yellow decks that is.

 

 

 

If it is so that theres a bug or something that you can't unlock the other 3 basic decks that a major bummer.

 

Free players barely stood a chance by creating a mixed basic deck but with only the yellow...yea gg.
