Legit Problems, not just complaints.

First I want to say, its glitchy, its got problems, and bad ones, but it IS functioning. And thats more than we can say for the last few months.

 

 

 

I'll start with the biggest issue first: It CRASHES. In 5 matches I had it bomb out and say "lost connection with server" 4 times! Beta or not now that its up this needs to be the first priority in bug fixing. This ruins the games because you simply get thrown out of it and forced to log back in.

 

 

 

Second most serious; The Deck Builder. When in the deck builder, I can't see the pokemon I put in the deck. I can see trainers, energy supporters etc... but under the pokemon Tab, the only way to know what pokemon I put in there is to memorize it myself. Aside from that annoyance, this means if I decicde to edit my Deck, I can't take the pokemon out because I can't see it and clicking and dragging around doesn't seem to net me anything.

 

 

 

Next, Rescue Scarf - Dragons Exalted. When this card is attached to a pokemon that's knocked out, no prizes are drawn. Needless to say, this is a very crippling and game changing problem. This to can ruin a game, especially in this era of beefy EX cards.

 

 

 

Next, Tool Cards, this is more minor, but occasionally when a card like eviolite or dark claw is attached, all the energy and the tool attached to that pokemon get flipped over. So we can't see what they are.

 

 

 

I'm sure other people will have mentioned these, but this is a BETA and as I understand it the purpose of a BETA is to have the players point out these problems. I was tempted to go on a big rant about how the game got Delayed for almost 3 days but I'm not going to. I know problems can arrise. I don't like how you didn't tell anyone why, or what was going on, but its over and done with. I want you to focus on the issues at hand. These are serious issues with the game, I hope you can get them dealt with ASAP.

 

 

 

On a more positive side, the game being a downloadable client is a HUGE benefit and eleminates most, if not all the lag problems that existed with the old version. The new card graphics look nice, and the Shop page works wonderfully. Though I would say I wish you could imput several codes at once and then redeem them all at once. rather than having to check off each one and hit Redeem and continue over and over...

 

 

 

Finnally let me conculde with saying that I'm glad its back up, I look forward to more progress, and I especially can't wait for trading to come back. I opened 57 packs, got a lot of nifty stuff, but I need to trade! I mean it is called the Pokemon TRADING card game after all.

I am also seeing the problem with deck builder not being able to see pokemon or edit them once they have been added.

You can fix the deckbuilder problem by changing the performance setting in options, then closeing and re-starting the client

i have also noticed that the scarf dosnt give you a prize but there is also a problem with knocking out 2 or more pokemon at once i knocked 3 out at once with a registeel and only got one prize another thing i noticed was cards i had before the update are missing but the worst thing ive see so far is that it will frezze out of the blue and causer you to have to shut down and reenter the game

Yeah, I've got the freeze-up problem... ESPECIALLY, it seems when I try to play Prof Oak, but also Eelektrik's Dynamotor.

 

Also Rescue scarf bites. Twice I knocked out the same MewTwo EX with rescues scarves attached to him, and got no prize card for either knock-out. This can't be intended, is it?! I've looked for rulings on other sites and no one intreprets this card as working like this.

My biggest concern is that I can't access my Noble Victory deck on Multiplayer, but It was available in Single Player, So I played through the awful Trainer Challenge thinking it would unlock it. Every so often, the game just froze and I had to Task Manage close the game and restart it.. I can't even begin to build a deck because all of my best combo cards are in that Furious Knights deck. Anyone have a solution for it?

I hate the bug where it just randomly stops too. Things like Random Reciever, Dynamotor, Ultra Ball among others have caused the game to just sit at a standstill. Each player can check things like discard piles and stuff, but the game doesn't proceed. Both players are forced to sit and wait until one resigns.

 

I hope we get a big patch that fixes most, if not all these updates. Rescue Scarf is so broken.
