MULTIPLAYER TOURNAMENT SIGN-UP

Hope everyone is excited about the upcoming multiplayer release for TCGO. I know I am!Since Rankings will NOT be available for some months (according to the moderators) I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a TCGO tournament. Judging by Prof Mathi’s posts I’m assuming we will be able to challenge friends. The tournament would start on the release of the multiplayer of course.

 

I’m thinking:

 

- A 16-trainer tournament (open-format)--------- I have bumped it up to 24 trainers

 

<p class="MsoNormal">-The 1^st round will consist of league play (Round Robin style)

 

<p class="MsoNormal">-There will be 6 groups of 4-trainers each,

 

<p class="MsoNormal">- each trainer fights everyone in their group 3 consecutive times.

 

<p class="MsoNormal">-Scoring System:

 

<p class="MsoNormal">- Simple, you will recieve 1 POINT for each battle won. Meaning you can score a max of 3 points against the same opponent during league play

 

<p class="MsoNormal">

 

<p class="MsoNormal">- The top 2 players from each group (12 total) plus 4 "wildcard" trainers will advance to a single loss, 16 trainer elimination style tournament

 

<p class="MsoNormal">If anyone is up for it just sign up. I will explain more on the format as trainers sign up. It would be great if we could have more than 16 trainers!

Sign me up! Although keep in mind that if these games are going to be played during the week, I am unavailable from 7am to 3pm PDT because I'll be at work. Not sure if you have any sort of schedule format planned, but just a heads up.
