Do you know when we will be able to earn decks by playing trainer challenge (this was disabled at some point I belive)?

Great news, looking forward to playing some games again!

 

Any news on what format(s) will be available once the game is released? Will BLW-on be implemented immediately? Will it still be HS-on? Both? Any alternative formats?

I redeemed my 4 booster codes and 1 kyrum EX card code, the day and time this error was found. Will my Kyerum card still be there?

Awesome to hear a more solid release date, I'm definitely excited for this :D

 

But if I'm reading this correctly, there won't be trading when the multiplayer is launched. Any ideas as to when that will come out?

 

Rayquaza EX deck? Grap your weakness hitting dragon cards everyone!

In more serious matters, can't wait to pit my Aggron/Samurott deck aggainst the new meta-game. And def cant wait to open a bunch or DE and DEX boosters MWAHAHAHAHA

I'm going to be happy using my Zekrom Eelektrik deck.

So do i understand correctly that when we get the game back some time next week we will be unable to trade with other players. Maybe i misunderstood the post if so someone fill me in. Other then that looking forward to at least being able to do player vs player for the first time!

Pretty exciting. Even though Trading won't be available at launch, at least Multiplayer and the Deck Builder will.

 

My main concerns are still the same though.

 

  • Is the speed of the cards being played still too fast?
  • Are there any options now to re-size the client window, instead of being stuck at either full-screen or a preset windowed-size mode?
  • What about the attack animations? Are they still placeholder effects or did the GFX team add in actual effects?

In addition, players will have access to the Black & White–Dark Explorers set and the Black & White–Dragons Exalted set when it launches! Features such as trading and ranked battles will be rolled out in the coming months.

 

 

 

 

Does this mean we will only be able to open packs and not be able to trade for them? I would just be happy to finally get the cards. It would be troublesome not to being able to build a deck, without being able to trade for cards you haven't been able to pull.

Unfortunately, yes.

 

 

These upgrades will permit a player to build custom decks using cards from his or her collection and battle against other players, or computer-controlled opponents.

 

 

So it looks like we'll have to live with our current collections in this version. We are still of course able to open packs. Just not trading.

so can a prof give us more details on why trading is going to be down? seems like that should be easier to program than anything else.

I think I'm the only one that likes the no trading. I don't like how many people try to scam others. Besides look at the bright side. If they release trading in the fall, darkrai, mewtwo, rayquaza, will be cheaper. I'm loving everything what they are doing. Keep it up! :)
