I use a team that keeps changing when I want certain Pokemon. Some include Serperior, Azumarill, Golduck, Lucario, Arcanine, and Electivire. I invest a lot of time in training.

I don't entirely know if that's a good idea because doesn't the Dream Radar come out after the realease of BW2.

I think my team for Black 2 will be Samurrot, Scolipede, Mandibuzz, Infernape, Torterra, and Feraligatr. The last three will be traded from HeartGold.

I was thinking about using grass types in my playthrough, but due to the most of the boss fights resisting grass moves I dicided against it.
