How do you do ev and iv?

I don't know how two ev and iv, my pokemon are ok... but i need to make them better.How??? Ok i know i'm not the best... but i want to turn over a new leaf.So i need help... ok!! EVERYONE DOES!!! who cares!!!! So if SOMEONE could help me that would be AWESOME!!!

Ok, I'm not that good at explaining, but here goes:

 

EVs(Short for Effort Values) Increase a stat by one fro every four you get in that stat. they are gained at the same time as EXP when you KO a pokemon. So to EV train you just fight the right pokemon again and again. But the problem is, each pokemon can only have 255 Evs in one stat, and 510 in totale, so if you want to EV train a pokemon you've already battled with you need certan berries that lower EVs.

 

IV's are basicly what makes each pokemon different. They also increase stats, but there is no way of changing them, the only way you can influence them is by breeding.

The best place for Atk EVs in B/W is route 1, as Patrat and Lillipup both give 1 Atk Ev each time. If you have an older game just let me know and I'll give you best Ev training locations for that.
