Does anyone miss the original 151 Pokemon?

<div>There are over 700 Pokemon to date. The phrase " gotta catch em all" is now made impossible unless you have tons of people to trade with or through use of cheating devices for event Pokemon like mew and celebi. Does anyone else wish they could go back to when there were only 150 Pokemon and you really could catch em all...</div>

Well I do know a guy who has gotten the 649 pokemon. It's only a realistic goal if you're willing to contribute a lot of time into the game.

You would have to devote your life to the game. Some people can't or won't do that. I've tried and got the Pokemon, but only because im still in middle school and I've cheated a little(remember my little post about the Reshirams last night?).

Well reshiram/zekrom/victini/event Pokemon cannot be shiny. You can't get all shinies without cheating. Even then, they aren't real...

Did you get them through trade like I did with the legitly obtainable ones, or through random encounter(lucky). And is the gyrados from g/s/HG/SS one of them?

I don't HATE the new Pokemon, I just think there's too many. Believe me-I LOVE reshiram,zekrom,and the new kyurems. ( I'm getting black2 on launch. Got reshiram last time, so this time, I'm going with the zekrom- like one)

The amount of pokemon doesn't really bother me because when you think about it 150 pokemon isn't really that much when you think about it. Besides, I don't really collect that much unless I can find a use for the in battles....but I do like to collect legendaries....even though I don't use them.

I don't really miss it either. I mean, if they'd left it at 150, we'd be stuck with a lot of stupid Pokemon. People always say that the newer Pokemon are ugly and less creative, but I mean, Ekans. It's just a purple snake. Its name is literally just snake backwards. OMG SO CREATIVE lol
