sooo, i'm new, and i was just wondering if i am getting booster packs needlessly right now. help pleas?

Don't worry... You'll be able to use them as soon as the PvP comes back online. For now, you can only use the theme decks for the trainer challenge.

Hey Eeveelutions93,

 

WELCOME!

 

I would not use the word wasted, but you are currently unable to use your redeemd booster cards to play. You can still build decks with them and trade with other players in the TCGO (pokemontcg.com/tcgo). Eventually you will be able to use the custom decks you have created in the TC and later in the TCGO.
