I bought some codes online and when I redeem them they are turning up invalid. Does this problem have to do with the update or was I just scammed?

 

This message shows up when i head to the TCGO website, i'm not sure if this applys to redeeming codes.

 

We are having trouble with our Patcher at the moment! Please stand-by! We are also hard at work on getting your previously redeemed product into the new TC!

i have no clue and how you pay with other ppl in this new one i can't find 1v1 jest AI i can play with.
