Hello there TCGO players! I have a deck here to counter most metagame decks. Here's the deck list:

Pokemon: 15

3 Cobalion

3 Terrakion

3 Regigigas EX

2-2 Zoroark

2 Shaymin UL

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 31

2 Catcher

3 Energy Exchanger

4 Dual Ball

4 Junk Arm

4 N

4 PONT

4 Cheren

2 Pluspower

2 Eviolite

2 Skyarrow Bridge

Energy: 14

4 Spc. Metal

4 Prism

6 Fighting

3 DCE

Cobalion counters CMT by KOing Mewtwo with Energy Press, and steel is a type with few resistences. Also, with a 2 energies on both pokemon, and an eviolite on Cobalion does only 40 damage, which Cobalion can match. Terrakion counters Zek Eels and Thunderdome by using Retaliate for a ******* Zekrom EX. Regigigas EX counters durant by sheer force and has a damage cap of 220, which OHKO's anything in the format. Zoroark somewhat counters ChandyPlume and TyRam and is a good tech. Shaymin helps with all the energy types.

I need help in filling the empty spots, so please post ideas and constructive critiscism.

You play no switch and 2 sky arrows. with skyarrow, you have 9 pokemon with at least 1 retreat. You have no energy accelerator to keep up with any accelerator that is already set up. You only play 1 catcher which is a really low count. Your deck needs to hit the right target with the right pokemon.

As for energies, go for 3 DCE and reduce the fighting to 3.

You only play 6 draw supports with 3 N and 3 PONT. usually a deck plays 8~12 supporters with 0 to 2 pokegears for consistency.

I would suggest using dual balls rather than pokemon collector in this deck. you want to be able to use supporters to increase your odds of attaching an energy a turn. You wouldn't want to miss any attachment.

With no accelerators, you need to try to conserve energies or make them more efficient. why not try 2 Shaymin UL?

I cant believe I forgot Switch.

What are energy accelrators other than Energy Search and Cilan?

Is +3 Cheren good for draw?

Changes:

-1 Fighting

+1 DCE

+3 Cheren

+2 Energy Search

-3 pokemon collector

+3 Dual ball

+2 pokegear

+1 Shaymin.

Still 8 slots. Suggestions?

You have 4 different types of Pokemon you should only have 1 one type unless you really want to.

Did you not read the title? Anti-Metagame deck? He has a lot of different types to counter each type of competitive deck in the format at the moment. Can you counter every type of competitive deck in the format atm with ZekEels? -_-'

I agree with everything you've said here, but I would honestly go with 4 DCE. Both RegigigasEX and Zoroark can abuse DCE. The only problem is it makes lost removers more effective against you, but in a multi-energy deck like this one that's always going to be a problem.

It appears as though you have your deck set, but I'll offer some suggestions for decks like this:

Something you might want to try is perhaps Electrode for an energy accelerator. It's a bit risky since you have to give up a prize, but getting a turn 2 energymite off can be very devastating to an opponent. Pairing that with Twins can help you control a game from the beginning. The only problem is this requires a good bit of cards dedicated to getting Electrode out consistently including the line itself and research record. So it may not be practical.

Kyurem is also a good card for a deck since it can spread damage and get KO's against bench sitters like Eels and Celebis. It's got Metal weakness which is good in this metagame, and it also can use DCE for outrage. Just something to keep in mind.

-1 Fighting

+1 DCE

+3 Cheren

+2 Energy Search

-3 pokemon collector

+3 Dual ball

+2 pokegear

+1 Shaymin.

As of right now, energy search is pretty worthless since the only basic energy you are running is fighting energy, so you'd be better off just putting in more fighting. I would recommend energy exchanger since you can switch whatever energy in your hand for whatever you need, it allows you to get and switch special energy as well.

Everything else looks pretty good. I would add in more junk arms so that you have 4, they are key in many decks that utilize different types of trainers. More catcher is definitely needed, and you might want to throw in some more PONT/N/Juniper even with the extra cheren.

Okay, all slots are filled.

@VikesRule Electrode is risky. I don't want to lose momentum in the early-game, and I could discard 7 important cards with no energy. I don't want to risk that. Kyreum is another energy type that I don't absolutly need.
