  1. Hello Trainers, Trainers using Mac OS version 10.12 or higher might run into an issue with the installer freezing at "Please wait while the refresher is patched". If you or a friend are experiencing this issue, there are a couple of solutions to attempt that should fix this. Solution 1: The first is to go into your Applications folder and open the 'Pokémon Online Trading Card Game' folder. Move the application from this to the main Applications folder and then delete the empty TCGO folder. Solution 2: If this does not work, you may need to try a "full" uninstallation if you experience issues such as the patcher/refresher stalling after an update, the client freezing or crashing, or trouble hanging during loading up. Important! During the uninstall process you want to be sure to remove the all associated game files. Please follow the below steps to perform a complete uninstall. Delete the folder named TCGO, along with any downloaded installation files. Click on 'Go' located on your top window, press the 'alt/option' key and select 'Library'. Go to 'Cache' folder. Delete any/all Pokémon related folders you find. From the 'Library' again, go to 'Saved Application State' and delete the "unity.The Pokémon Company International.Refresher.savedState" folder. Empty your trash and then restart your Mac. Ensure that you've deleted all previously downloaded versions of the game. Visit http://pokemon.com/playtcgo to download the latest game installer. More Info: Please also confirm that your machine meets the minimum specifications required to run the TCGO (found at the bottom of the download page). You'll also need to ensure you have a strong and stable internet connection, as the TCGO requires constant communication with the game servers. NOTE: If you find you have any further difficulty, please submit a support ticket with your system information. You can find detailed instructions for how to do so here: How do I provide my system information (such as DxDiag) to the support team? If, after reinstallation, you encounter the same issue, please use the following steps to launch the game client: Go to the Applications folder and the Pokémon Online Trading Card Game folder. Right-click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents.' In the resulting folder, go into 'Contents' and then 'MacOS' There will be a file called Pokemon Trading Card Game Online. Launch this file. It will open a terminal which will run before the game launches. At this stage, you should be able to close the Terminal and run the game as normal. If you do continue to experience issues, please provide us with your system specifications (instructions on how to do so can be found in the following support article: How to retrieve system information. If you continue to experience issues, create a support ticket at www.pokemon.com/support by doing the following: Click "Sign In" near the top to sign into your account and open up all options Select the "Request Support" tab and then "Ask a Question" link Fill out all the required filled and give a detailed description of the issue, including the steps already taken to attempt to resolve it It's best to provide your system information to the support team right away.     I Can Install PTCGO

    someone can help me, try to reinstall the ptcgo first delete the installer with the old version and download the updated installer and then ask me the "PokemonInstaller.msi" then look for the installer I downloaded but I get error, Someone has a solution Posts: When I give it to cancel when it asks me that same it asks me and it does not let me install it I have a screenshot but I do not like to send them so that they see it

    Problems with Reinstallation

    Dear Pokémon-community, After I had some trouble with the Login I decided to deinstall and reinstall Pokémon TGG. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reinstall it ever since. I can download the Installer, but as soon as the Installer starts the installation process, I get an error message that tells me something like this: I cannot install the programm from this source. Then I am asked to search my computer for a different source/path from which to start the installer. But no matter what I chose, it always says the same and same thing again. I tried to copy the installer to different locations (documents, desktop, etc.) but it still won't accept it. Does anyone have an idea what I could do about this?     Scanns gone

    Hello. After upgrade sw. My sons scannes are totally lost.. all the scanns/Cards Are gone. How to fix?
  6. I have a problem or actually two problems. If I need to find a pokemon in my collection and searching for the name, there are no cards found even though I have the cards and if I have to make a new card set, it is no longer in alphabetical order.. The other problem is all text in the game is no longer normal before I updated the game there was trade now there is hud.buttons.trade.tooltip. It's all a bit confusing because there is no information that you need. If I'm in my collection and want to find a poker card by searching on the name, there are no cards found even though I have the cards. Another problem is the actual teaspoon in the game is hard to understand. Before this update stood there trade now there is *****************.tooltip and that's all text.
  7. What happened to the Android beta version of this app? Cause i just noticed that it has disappeared from my beta app list.
  8. All of the buttons on the game launcher seem to be broken. They're all labeled by the code name, not the actual name. I've attached a screenshot below. Game still works, but it's getting really annoying and difficult to use with this glitch. Running it on a Mac, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, and I've tried waiting. This came up about 2 weeks ago and I thought it was the server since it came out of nowhere, but it still isn't fixed.     [MAC] Patching - Stuck on Refresher

    Every time there is an update - the refresher gets stuck on the Mac. It usually takes 2 weeks, then it starts working again. I've gone through all the troubleshooting information offered, but couldn't this simply be fixed so it doesn't happen EVERY SINGLE TIME???? It's very frustrating.

  11. I downloaded the app for Mac, double checked this already, and when I click to open the app it doesn't do anything. Just shows icon in toolbar like its open but is not actually open or doing anything.
  12. I uninstalled PTCGO about 2 weeks ago and now would like to install, again however ever time I try to install I get an error message saying "The older version of PTCGO cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group." Anyone ever had this I am on windows 10 I have tried going through my Registry files and deleting all the Related files also I have run CCleane to no avail. any help is appreciated Thanks in advance

    Weird storage glitch

    So I installed the google play store on my fire tablet 7, so I could play Pokemon tcg online, it installed and I had plenty of room left, about 450MB, and the game loaded fine, but then my system said low storage and I had only 100MB left, so I thought, oh just some downloaded files for the game, so I deleted some games and had 1GB left, and I opened up the game again and a CRITITCALLY LOW STORAGE alert popped up and I had only 80MB left, please tell me why most of my tablets storage has disappeared.

    Stuck on refresher update

    Hi, I wanted to get back into the card game when Sun and Moon was released, however, TCG online won't load at all for me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times following different directions provided on the internet. For example, made sure all the files were deleted and reinstalled it. I even tried running it as administrator but I still have exact same problem. It tells me to wait as it checks of a refresher update. I had it up for two hours and there was never a loading bar. If anything, the screen appears frozen. Operating system: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Pentium CPU G630 @2.70Ghz RAM: 6.00GB I was able to play it two years ago on this computer, so I don't know if it has something to do with a recent update or what. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. Hey there! Looks like a few folks are running into an issue uninstalling/reinstalling the game on PC when it's installed in a language other than English. Players may receive a "property.USER_PROFILE cannot be accessed" error when attempting to uninstall the game through the Programs menu. While the dev team works to address this issue, the workaround for this issue is to run the Pokémon TCG Online installer file and selecting "uninstall." To do this on PC, find the installer (should be named PokemonInstaller.msi) and re-run it, but select the "uninstall" option. Hope that helps! Stay cool everyone!

  18. I try to log in and it won't even open up the game....uninstalled and reinstalled and same outcome... Anyone else having issues? And yes I know the next reply will be to submit a ticket and wait 2-3 days....

    Compatibility for Amazon Fire Tablets

    I'm just curious as to when or if there is a way to Install the tcg game from the amazon app store. If I could get some information on when or if it will be available I would greatly appreciate it.
  21. Heyooo for those of you who, like me, had the update in Oct/Nov 2016 crash the game and give the error message "please send the file to the game developer" I may have found a solution! A friend of mine was fixing a Steam game for me with a similar problem and suggested I go into Windows update and, well yeah, run updates- Windows says there's only 10 optional updates, but just running all of those seems to have fixed the problem and I can now run TCG from my PC again! I was given the suggestion by the staff to go into LocalLow and all this stuff which I think is better to do still if you're having this problem- follow those steps, remove all the original files, run the update and THEN redownload c: ------------ Similarly I know the iPad version was also crashing- I found a simple delete and redownload worked for that too ^-^ I'm not sure yet about the Apple version- comment if there's a similar solution for MAC users! Hope I helped everyone else ^-^
  22. When I tried to login to the game recently (a couple of weeks ago) all I got was a loading screen which never moved. When I tried to uninstall (/reinstall) it I started getting this error. Now I've been unable to use/play, install (or uninstall; although I deleted all the files now) PTCGO at all in several weeks, all because of the "PC: property.USER_PROFILE not found error" which appears whenever I try to do literally anything involving the game. However, my problem isn't with a non-English language like stated on the bug thread; and I've tried all the possible fixes, re-installing new versions, deleting all the files, but I still can't do anything. I also STILL can't submit a ticket (I haven't been able to submit one in over two years now because of this bug), every time I try to, I get an error like the following:
  23. After the December 14 patch, the game crashed continually upon start up. I deleted the install then tried to re-install but now it won't do it. A error keeps popping up during the copying new files status. It reads {The cabinet file ********* required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.} I've tried retry and ignore but it doesn't help. I really need some help.
  24. Hi guys....I can't seem to get Pokémon TCG to work on my pc. Specs are... Windows 10 ** 8320 RX 480 gtr 16g Ram 500 SSD 2 TB Hdd Cant seem to figure out whats wrong....used to work before...I tried running as administrator..always tried different windows compatibility (run the game in windows 7 and 8) and I have yet to fix the problem... any ideas?!?

    Can't update or uninstall

    Hiya, I've done the latest update several times and I can't seem to access anything else, even after restarting my computer. I just keep getting the update screen. So, I thought about deleting the game and its files and then reinstalling but I'm unable to uninstall the game from Programs and Features. I get "Could not access network location. Property. USER_PROFILE. Can anyone help? Thank you!
