  1. My girlfriend and I both decided to install and play this Pokemon TCG online recently. We both went on the official site, and downloaded the game. My install wizard launched properly and I had the game installed and running within minutes. However, whenever my girlfriend tries to run the .ede for the installer, the installer window pops up, and immediately gets covered by an error message saying that "There is already an instance of this program being installed, please wait for the install to finish before starting this one." And when we click "Ok" or X it out, the whole installer closes. This happened on the very first instance of her attempting to run the installer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. Hello, I have played the tcg online before. I stopped a couple of weeks ago and decided to play some more today. However, I can’t seem to play. I start the game and it loads to 50% in the refresher, then says it needs to repair. I let it sit for about an hour, even though it said it would only take a few minutes. I don’t know what to do.
  4. I just downloaded the game today and have played in the past on my MacBook Air. I now have an iMac. The iMac can run the game since I have seen it done. The download and installation had no issues at all. After I log into the game it shows this message: "authentication failure / protocol error." I attempted to restart the client to no avail. I have not tried to reinstall the game yet, hoping there is a way around it. I did check to make sure the game server is up as well. Does anyone have any solution for this error?

    unexpected error 1632

    so ive been trying to install the game in multiple locations that have plenty of storage (i.e hard drive flash drives) but it always fails with an error 1632 and i haven't been able to find anything on it online please help i just want to play the game
  6. Good time of day, I set the Japanese region in an Administrative tab after that I started to get this error. When I returned settings to default problem didn't disappear. How can i fix it?

I'm fine through these steps: Once I click uninstall, I get the following message: I don't have the old MSI installer I used to install in the first instance, it was years ago. When I direct the installer to a new MSI install package I've just downloaded, I get his message: When I launch the installer MSI alone, I run into the same thing, as the installer's first action is to uninstall the old version. If I try to cancel the uninstall but continue with the install, I get a dialog box that says this: How can I find out what version MSI installer I need, and where can I get it?

  10. Hey there. When I try to download the game, the installer sends me to another page full of exclusive characters that keeps loading forever. I tried many times and even tried to wait an hour for it to load but didn't work. My pc has more than the recommended to play the game (not sure if this would interfere in something because I can't even download the game). I need help please. SOS. Thank's since now.

Hello, tonight I tried to login into the game (like I successfully did in the morning) and the loading bar went up to around 70% and it failed, over and over again, going really slow in the process. I tried to uninstall the game and I got the well known "Property USER Profile" error. So, I went to https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/play-online/ to download the game again, and the download is REALLY slow, like 5,0 kbps (my internet connection usually goes for 5 mbps). I tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, all the same stuff, over and over. Tried a different WiFi, no luck. Tried via a LAN connection, also no luck. I'm playing on Windows 10 - x64, 8GB RAM, Intel i5-7200U What's going on? thanks
  13. Its been a while since I've played but I'm looking at getting back into it. Since I've last played, I've gotten a new keyboard and mouse. Whenever I start the game up I can click through the opening logos but then I can't click on the "Log In" or "Start" buttons. I logged back in through the Pokemon website and I was able to click the "Log In", but then neither the mouse nor the keyboard would let me do so.
  14. Slow, as in it has loaded 18% in as many minutes in my last attempt. It wont even work if it reaches 100%. Most of the time it gets stuck part way. I had the game working before I started having this problem. I have repeatedly tried to uninstall, manually all other related files and reinstall. Still no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. I have no idea what is wrong.

Hello, I keep trying to install Pokemon TCGO and every time I finish installing and open it up: it gives me an error message saying I should let the developer know what went wrong and that there was a folder with all the information on the crash. Not only that, but occasionally upon opening it up (I've attempted this several times) and closing the crash/error window: it would cause my graphics card to fail with Video TDR Failure. I've done a clean uninstall (using the program and various other ways) to no avail and don't quite know where to send the error folder. Is this the place I'm supposed to consult first? If it helps: I'm running it on Windows 10 and have an AMD Radeon Graphics card that is up to date. I think here's the important info from the text document: aticfx32.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module aticfx32.dll at 0023:72782086.
  16. Right around the time that the most recent refresher/client update came out, I ran into an issue with the client. Upon launching the client, I am greeted with a black screen. After a few seconds, the refresher automatically opens, also to a black screen. I've tried everything: waiting to see if anything happens, opening and closing the client multiple times, running with Windows 8 Compatibility settings, restarting my PC and uninstalling and reinstalling the client. Is there anything else I can do? I'd really like to get this figured out before Ultra Prism comes out so I can get back to playing and collecting again!

Hi, I was having trouble with the latest update for PTCGO and followed the steps to reinstall the game, however, when I downloaded the disk image, it keeps coming up as damaged and I'm unable to reinstall the game. How can I get around this? I have provided an image of the Error I keep getting. Thanks Lee
  18. Is the new patch live yet? I tried to open the game and got the refresher screen saying there was a new version available (2.49), but it does not seems to be downloading anything, the progress bar is missing from the screen and the only buttons available are "close" and "repair" while "play" is disabled. Do I have to reinstall (like with almost every update, which gets old, by the way) or is it because the new version is not live at the moment?
  19. Hello Trainers, Trainers using Mac OS version 10.12 or higher might run into an issue with the installer freezing at "Please wait while the refresher is patched". If you or a friend are experiencing this issue, there are a couple of solutions to attempt that should fix this. Solution 1: The first is to go into your Applications folder and open the 'Pokémon Online Trading Card Game' folder. Move the application from this to the main Applications folder and then delete the empty TCGO folder. Solution 2: If this does not work, you may need to try a "full" uninstallation if you experience issues such as the patcher/refresher stalling after an update, the client freezing or crashing, or trouble hanging during loading up. Important! During the uninstall process you want to be sure to remove the all associated game files. Please follow the below steps to perform a complete uninstall. Delete the folder named TCGO, along with any downloaded installation files. Click on 'Go' located on your top window, press the 'alt/option' key and select 'Library'. Go to 'Cache' folder. Delete any/all Pokémon related folders you find. From the 'Library' again, go to 'Saved Application State' and delete the "unity.The Pokémon Company International.Refresher.savedState" folder. Empty your trash and then restart your Mac. Ensure that you've deleted all previously downloaded versions of the game. Visit http://pokemon.com/playtcgo to download the latest game installer. More Info: Please also confirm that your machine meets the minimum specifications required to run the TCGO (found at the bottom of the download page). You'll also need to ensure you have a strong and stable internet connection, as the TCGO requires constant communication with the game servers. NOTE: If you find you have any further difficulty, please submit a support ticket with your system information. You can find detailed instructions for how to do so here: How do I provide my system information (such as DxDiag) to the support team? If, after reinstallation, you encounter the same issue, please use the following steps to launch the game client: Go to the Applications folder and the Pokémon Online Trading Card Game folder. Right-click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents.' In the resulting folder, go into 'Contents' and then 'MacOS' There will be a file called Pokemon Trading Card Game Online. Launch this file. It will open a terminal which will run before the game launches. At this stage, you should be able to close the Terminal and run the game as normal. If you do continue to experience issues, please provide us with your system specifications (instructions on how to do so can be found in the following support article: How to retrieve system information. If you continue to experience issues, create a support ticket at www.pokemon.com/support by doing the following: Click "Sign In" near the top to sign into your account and open up all options Select the "Request Support" tab and then "Ask a Question" link Fill out all the required filled and give a detailed description of the issue, including the steps already taken to attempt to resolve it It's best to provide your system information to the support team right away. Instructions on how to do so can be found in the support portal here: How to retrieve system information. Once everything is filled out, select "Finish"

    Problems with Reinstallation

    Dear Pokémon-community, After I had some trouble with the Login I decided to deinstall and reinstall Pokémon TGG. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reinstall it ever since. I can download the Installer, but as soon as the Installer starts the installation process, I get an error message that tells me something like this: I cannot install the programm from this source. Then I am asked to search my computer for a different source/path from which to start the installer. But no matter what I chose, it always says the same and same thing again. I tried to copy the installer to different locations (documents, desktop, etc.) but it still won't accept it. Does anyone have an idea what I could do about this?   24. I have a problem or actually two problems. If I need to find a pokemon in my collection and searching for the name, there are no cards found even though I have the cards and if I have to make a new card set, it is no longer in alphabetical order.. The other problem is all text in the game is no longer normal before I updated the game there was trade now there is hud.buttons.trade.tooltip. It's all a bit confusing because there is no information that you need. If I'm in my collection and want to find a poker card by searching on the name, there are no cards found even though I have the cards. Another problem is the actual teaspoon in the game is hard to understand. Before this update stood there trade now there is *****************.tooltip and that's all text.
