I would love for TPC to allow us to trade our event tickets for in game currency or with other players who would better use them. I am currently in an event and waiting for the last round to start but each time I play I get very nervous and anxious and would rather just trade my tickets to people. I'm sure there are many players who don't do events due to feeling self conscious or because they dont like feeling under pressure while in game therefore letting their tickets build up. I currently have close to 400 tickets and I dont think I'd even do enough events to burn through half by the end of this year. This may have been brought up a 100 times before but just in case y'all need a bit more persuasion this is my reasoning. Just please don't be cheap with the conversion if its in game currency. I dont want to give one ticket for one coin lol.

If I was Admin of these forums, I would eliminate the "Upvotes" and "Downvotes" entirely. Of the 3 current choices, I would leave the "Like" option (heart symbol). With this simple Like button, it would still encourage good ideas, wisdom, humor, helpful tips, and positive recognition. That's all we really need. As it stands now, especially after the new forum software, this Reputation System has become a negative influence, and even a platform for bullying. ONE player upset that someone is bullying him, with repeated unnecessary downvotes, is too many. ...And there are several. It's gotten out of hand, and needs to be fixed. Players shouldn't be having their "Reputation" slammed because of game suggestions or deck ideas. Neither should this system be a personality contest, which has become all too common. Do we really want players rating each other's personality or "reputation" with votes? Personally, I think the entire Leaderboard system (rating players) should be done away with. Posts and ideas should be counted, but not the people who made them. Other suggestions (if even possible?)... @Otakutron (above) has suggested maybe a question mark (or Huh?) for comments that are strange, seem odd, or need further clarification. That might be a good idea, and even spice things up, but it should NOT affect a player's reputation rating (neither +/-). Also, it might be fun to add a Smiley face, to recognize humor or something pleasant, but it also should NOT affect a player's reputation rating (neither +/-). This would be more of a "thank you" for bringing a smile.

Legacy is a great format, and with all HGSS and Black and White packs in the shop, it is very easy to acquire the cards to play this format. However, since the removal of legacy tournaments, it seems that there isn’t really a ton of reason to play anymore. The legacy ladder is nice, but I and many others feel that legacy tournaments should make a return. No matter what the prizes are, it is great to be able to play legacy in an actual competitive setting without the random decks and bots that you see on ladder all the time. I know legacy tournaments often took some time to fill up, but that really is no reason to remove them. And if wait times really are that big of a deal, a possible solution could be a 4-person tournament as opposed to the usual 8. It would cut times in half. The lack of tournament support really hurts the format, and for those of us that enjoy playing it a lot, it’s pretty sad. Please consider this. And if anyone supports this, please type a comment below and show that people want this format to have tournaments again.

So, I've returned recently to this game and there are still items that cannot be obtained that are trading at 700+ pack value in this game. Why is this allowed? It sends a bad message to new players in my opinion. I feel this game needs to allow people obtain all cards/gameplay pieces, perhaps in a new, custom "pack"/box. I don't like seeing all the exploitations out there. (I speak as a person with 4 beaches.) Also, in the versus rewards, can we please not just have full art trainers and EXs/GXs, but also LEGENDs, Primes, Secret Rare/Full Art Pokemon, and CoL/HGSS/Secret Rare energies? There's no reason why they wouldn't be cycled like all the other rare cards. Thanks!

    1. Lysandre is meant mostly for getting damge done to the switched pokemon and usually knock it out, the fact that opponent may or may not struggle to get it back on bench is just side effect. 2.PTCGO only bans cards should game breaking bugs occur. In actual tcg cards are banned usually only from expanded due to them causing interactions that would be utterly broken for the game health. Switch cards are never getting that treatment. edit:Well this is interesting situation. People didn't like this thread as they downvoted it, but they didn't like my answer to it either so they decided to downvote it too?

Hello! I would like to bring to attention an extremely bad issue that was found today by me and a few others while looking through chat emotes. This issue not only affects the players who use it, but other players as well in drastic ways. The issue has to do with various unused chat emotes such as {blend_1}, {rarepromolarge}, and all energy emotes followed by "_64x64". The effect of this is drastic to begin with, with almost all assets except the basic UI and cards deloading. All text becomes unviewable. This generally will last until the player logs out and logs back in on the client or until they close and reopen the client. However, it can at times cause the player's game to become permanently corrupted and all text and most assets to become unviewable until reinstall. As a side effect of this, running the game in this state can cause Windows system crashes due to a "critical structure corruption" having to do as a result. This isn't just a problem for the users who type the messages in chats; anyone who views the messages will usually end up with at least needing to relog. As well, using the emotes in friend game chat will cause games to lock up and even will cause the client to crash sometimes. Another result due to the corruption and assets not loading is that going into a game will force an autoloss and prevent the player from conceding until they close and reopen the client. The best way to solve the issue would be to temporarily close all chats including friend game chats and the lobbies. Until the emotes are removed from the game and have been identified, this could have dire consequences. People can force other players to reinstall at any time if they even view a message. If this is not fixed urgently, it will end badly. To users reading this, DO NOT OPEN CHATS. No chats are safe. Wait until an emergency bug fix is implemented. -Panda, your friendly neighbourhood bug boy

On the weekend a user was describing a problem with his Expanded deck, posting two in-game pictures in order to help us finding the problem. He used an external file sharing side and the links were taken down swiftly by a Mod soon afterwards, yet they played an important role to determine the problem and pinpoint a swift solution. By now we are all aware that links to external sites are prohibited on the ********* they go against the seemingly arbitrary terms of service. Little side note: when clicking n those pictures a little chatbox opened, declaring that “you are now leaving the official Pokemon TCG homepage and that the company is not responsible for any content you may find from here on out” (or something along those lines), which is a statement that countless other sites use as a “get out of jail” free card and something that I've suggested in the past as well. However, what if there was a way to implement screenshots from the game? The same way we can copy & paste deck lists, we should be able to store and attach in-game screenshots to the forum. Pro: since the game is also using the same profanity **********'s pretty much impossible to post anything offensive (and if you do, you could write the same thing here on the forum without any problems as well) screenshots can help tremendously in resolving technical questions, bug reports, **** ** * * ** *********** serves as a great narrative tool. Showcasing cool scenarios from your ********************************************** of your **** deck, teach someone a handy trick, or for dozen other instances, pictures are simply amazing. The easier it it to communicate, the more people are likely willing to take part. This forum places heavy shackles on his users and it's no wonder that only a handful or people are even regularly posting here. If you give us more freedom I can ensure you that more content will be created Con: people will find a way to use this as means to ridicule, publicly shame and harass people, because this is the nature of the internet. That being said, they already to that plentiful without the ability to post pictures and I'd argue that the community and the moderators are able to work together to stop any toxicity from spreading depending on the system you *******'s possible to alter the screenshots before posting them, rendering a lot of the safety measurements I mentioned earlier meaningless. Personally I don't know enough in order to have any opinion on this, thus I'd hand this problem over to people who know what they are doing not everyone will be happy if their opponent takes a screenshot during the match Neutral the ability to create screenshots already exists. Just because we can't post them here doesn't mean we couldn't use them in any other Pokemon related forum and to my knowledge our society hasn't crumbled yet and I haven't been force to offer my firstborn to Ba'al. All in all I'd argue that this is an instance were the benefits heavily outweigh the negative implications, all while keeping in check with the Pokemon code. Then again, that's only my opinion and you are free to disagree :). Edit: some words that are filtered: "Forum", "Filter" "picture" "use" "game" "brag" "winstreak" 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

@SK, I knew it was also happening to you. I feel you. Whatever you want to call it. Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior (nothing more or less). This fits the definition. I'm sorry that others may have experienced more severe meanings to the word. But this behavior and misuse shouldn't be happening in a family forum. Nobody has to tolerate discord, taking whatever {you know what} someone else dishes out, and agree to accept it silently. Sorry to disappoint others, but there's no compromise. ...Only solutions.

In short:Trade. The game has "economy" based on on packs as currency. Each card is valued according to the availability and demand, and therefore you can expect to get every single card in the game given enough packs. To see accurate values at each moment check trading section and take note on how much players are asking for card and how many packs they are offering for it. To get some kind of idea aproximate values, you may google ou7c4st for his guide on values, however the guide isn't always updated and you should always check trading section for actual values. You can get tradable packs from tournaments (theme deck tournaments highly recommended at first) or daily challenges after lv16. Now the taboo part: Yes, you can use trading in your advantage by trading card by packs for little less than players are at the time asking from it and then trading it yourself for the usual market price and therefore growing your collection of packs and cards.

I am red-green color blind, as are ~7% of males. I can't tell the difference between the 2 colors of the "for trade" icon and can't tell whether its on or off. This makes trading a pain. The "want" icon (heart shaped) works great b/c one of the colors is bluish and the other red or green. Love it. Easy to distinguish. Blue vs. red or blue vs. green are super easy to distinguish. I would love to be able to read my flags on the for trade icon and suggest you change it to a similar color scheme as the "want" icon. Typically one setting color in the red/green/brown family and the other in the blue/purple family would work for almost all color blind people. Thanks!

Well yes, but actually no. Yes you shouldn't purposefully take large amounts of time to annoy your opponent, however, you should always take time to consider things. Yes it is a good idea to plan ahead during your opponent's turn, but then again your opponent can screw with your plans or a lucky draw can change them immensely. (Don't forget that the cards you are looking for may be prized up.) Don't be like me and rush your turn. I've lost multiple games just because I wanted to be quick, but I could've just taken 5 seconds to use a specific card combo or ability. Essentially: don't be rude, instead, be a cool dude.
  30. 5 points
No way. If I'm playing a game and I know I'm going to lose, or if I don't want to play the deck you're using, then I'll quit. It should be my right. You get the win and reward anyways. The challenges should change though, but in real life, you can drop out, so it should be in this game without punishment.

Ok, so sure, the Judge card is annoying, but at least it's fair. It affects both players equally and it has additional utility. But this Reset Stamp card is just ridiculous! AND it's an item card, not even a supporter! So the going strategy now is for everyone just to spam reset stamps at each other? It makes setup for both parties impractical and slows gameplay dramatically. It will eventually reach a point in Sun and Moon where every deck MUST have them to be competitive. I thought it was the goal of the game makers to NOT to produce cards like that; cards that limit the choice, flavor, strategy, and overall flexibility of the player. At the very least it could have been some kind of "diamond prism" or only-one-per-deck kind of card. Overall, Reset Stamp cards should be banned in standard mode, and the sooner the better.

The following is a list of bugs and issues found/known to work in update 2.65.1 that as of me posting this are not listed in the bug tracker. Some of these may have already been reported, but the majority have not been. The bugs and issues listed below have a variety of things that they affect, including during gameplay, in trades, and in the collection. Gameplay-related issues with known circumstances: Alolan Muk & Muk Tag Team-GX UNB 61, 196, 197, 220 allows you to use the secondary effect of it's GX attack, "Nasty Goo Mix-GX", with only three energies attached if Dimension Valley is in play. The intended interaction should be that it still requires four energies to be attached even with Dimension Valley in play as the original cost of the attack is zero and as Dimension Valley only fulfills the energy requirement for the attack, not the extra energies. This means that it is possible for a Pokemon to have "fewer" than zero energies required for an attack on PTCGO, which shouldn't ever occur in normal gameplay, and only is noticeable with this specific instance. Rowlet & Alolan Exeggutor Tag Team-GX UNM 1, 214, 215, 237 does not allow you to use it's attack "Super Growth" to evolve a Pokemon to a stage 1 or a stage 2 on the first turn it is in play, or on the first turn of the game. The intended interaction should be that it allows you to evolve a Pokemon under these circumstances as it doesn't provide any restrictions to its use. This is likely due to the game's code saying that "Super Growth" acts as a regular evolution, with no rules put in to allow a first turn evolution. Porygon-Z UNB 157 allows you to attach energies such as Splash Energy BKP 113 and Triple Acceleration Energy UNB 190 or any other energy that can only be attached to specific Pokemon to Pokemon that should not normally be able to have these energies on them. It immediately discards them, which is intended. I am unsure if this is an intended interaction or unintended and considered a bug, but given the fact that the energy cards mentioned specifically state that it can only be attached to a specific class of Pokemon, I believe it is a bug. Another thing to note is that a report exists claiming that retreating a Pokemon with Recycle Energy UNM 212 or 257 attached to it by a Porygon-Z UNB 157 prevents it from returning to the hand, but I have been unable to replicate this issue at all in my testing with similar circumstances. Gameplay-related issues with unknown circumstances or that are unable to be replicated: Fractional damage counters can be done to Pokemon. The circumstance that this occurred in involved Muk TEU 63 attacking a Dragonite ROS 52 with the move "Toxic Secretion" and Seviper BUS 50 as a damage booster which the Pokemon took 99 damage after poison and had 61 damage remaining. All attempts to recreate this have failed, and my best guess is that something went wrong with a floating-point integer or an extremely specific interaction. Tag Switch UNM 209 can randomly cause elements of the game such as attaching energies or playing a turn to soft-lock when used. I have been unable to consistently replicate this, but it can occur when using the card randomly. My only guess regarding the circumstances for such a temporary soft lock in gameplay is that the moving of two energies gives the game issues due to a lack of other cards with a similar effect. Visual-related issues with known circumstances during gameplay: Persian-GX UNB 149, 207, 227 has a visual bug in which the ability "Cat Walk" is shown to be usable every turn. When the user goes to click on the card to use the ability, it only allows for the user to use the ability and not fail it in the intended circumstances of the ability's use, which is the turn after the opponent knocked out one of the player's EX/GX Pokemon. Filter-related issues in the collection and trades: The Mega Blastoise and Mega Charizard Battle Arena Decks show up under the "Evolutions" set when filtered in collection or in trades and show the set symbol next to the listing in trades. The primary items in this item are not from Evolutions, and the products were not released with Evolutions and have nothing to do with the set itself and should be tagged with no set symbol. Trade-related issues with unknown circumstances: Random set symbols are displayed next to gameplay and avatar items that have no set symbols associated with them. These have no pattern, and can even change while loading trades. None of these items should be affiliated with any set. The only thing I can notice is that more often than not it shows the Unified Minds set symbol, which might be due to the trade volume of the cards and packs of this set coinciding with the release. Pack and deck related issues: Two of the XY theme decks, Bolt Twister from Phantom Forces and Stone Heart from Ancient Origins yield the player the incorrect versions of Potion. The version that is intended to be given is the KSS 37 print, but the BCR 132 print is given instead. This can be seen with other XY theme decks containing Potion such as Burning Winds from Phantom Forces containing the correct print as well as the real decks containing the KSS print of the card.

I was playing in EXP. Quaking punch was in effect - Seismetoad-EX was active, on his bench was a garbotoxin with float stone attached and a Shaymin. the stadium was Virbank city placed by my opponent. I had a Ubb Dugtrio with a choice band in the active and a Jirachi with escape board on the bench although there were no other effects in place, I was locked out of all trainers. I couldn't play either supporters or stadium cards from my hand. I hope i made the post correctly

Howdy yall! I haven't been here (or in the game) for about two months, and dang does it look different. I do have to apologize for the unannounced absence; I had a lot of projects going on one week, and having gotten out of the habit of logging in daily I never got back in. It was never intentional- well, I guess that's not quite true at some points it was probably intentional to avoid the awkwardness of reintroductions. But mostly it was just a lack of habit plus procrastination. So now I'm wading through a reservoir of back-stocked threads. I've done all of Deck Construction, and I made a point of reading Otakutron's hijacked thread [Link banned by the Hyperspace Commission] with your opinions on the new reputation system before reviewing it myself. But I do have plenty of opinions about it and thus without- well, honestly, I've never liked the phrase "without further ado." It seems like further ado in itself, and most people can't pull off saying it without sounding silly or somewhat condescending. Anyways. The updates to the TCGO. I see mostly no change here except for the new set (UnB). They did claim, though, that this brought major bug fixes. Well, I suppose there may have been, but: "Beast Energy Prism Star is temporarily banned from play until a fix for this bug can be deployed." Beast energy is down. That seems like a heavy loss. Maybe let's keep score. We'll say one point TPCi for what they fixed, and one point for Unbroken Bonds. One point Entropy for KOing the Pstar. " Effects that prevent the opponent from playing Item cards during their next turn also prevent Supporter and Stadium cards from being played." Ooof. Got hit by this in my second game back; with Toad being popular, now's a bad time for this glitch to come up. 1pt Entropy. " Using an attack that returns the attacking Pokémon to the hand does not consistently require a new Active Pokémon to be promoted prior to resolving effects on other cards that trigger as a result of the attack." Hm. Haven't seen this one personally, but it sounds bad. Is it an auto-loss? I'll give Entropy a point until I get corrected. Current standings: Entropy TPCi 3 2 But there's a few more considerations. The new set contains Dust Island, which I consider to be one of the most revolutionary cards in the past five years- as well as a pokemon who can take good advantage, Muk&Alolan Muk GX. That gets the Pokemon Company a point in my book. ---But it won't stay a tie. I don't see it in the known issues, but I recently had a game where, after playing Guzma to bring up Jirachi, I couldn't retreat it. (recognizing this sounds like me missing something, I maintain it isn't. Absol wasn't around and no other red arrows affected me or jirachi, I had the necessary energy attached, and I had not already retreated. I am certain this is a glitch.) This did lost me the game and I am a steamy teapot. I will whistle at you! Whistle! Whistle! Whistle! XD final scores: Entropy TPCi 4 3 🎈🎉🎊🎈 Yay new emojis. We have new emojis. Initially I thought they had gotten rid of the old ones, which I think are so much more tasteful than Apple's or andoids's, or whatever these are. I was understandably disappointed. Fortunately, I discovered quickly that they're just hidden on the bottom. I suppose it's nice to have a wider variety; the old set had always seemed restrictive. Though the faces are going to be problematically clashy. Ah well; we'll all get along all right. The reputation system has changed. I don't quite get why we need both hearts and thumbs-up, you know? True, they're not exactly the same, but I would have thought if we were going to have different ones they may as well have been completely different. One for, 'this made me laugh'; one for, 'I agree with this concept.' It will do, I suppose, but it's very inelegant. Now up & downvotes don't cancel. This means two things- one, old downvotes (or up) will haunt a post forever and two, you can no longer erase the opinions of others. These have their pluses and minuses. https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/pokemon-cards/hgss-series/hsp/HGSS17/ It means that negativity cannot be eschewed, which is annoying and probably objectively bad. It means that no one can override anyone else which is good. Unfortunately, this also means that it becomes a minor contest between supporters and dissenters, especially with increased downvoting ability. I don't like it. Now- increased downvoting ability. This seems to be the main thing we're standing up about. I've always thought that having just one downvote was restrictive, though of course I rarely wanted to use more. Most days (like most people) I didn't use my one. But opening it up by an order of magnitude seems quite imprudent to me. I also think that if the number of possible reactions has increased, the number of allowed reactions should as well. So I suppose that I agree with the popular idea that this should be changed immediately. I will elaborate on my thoughts in the Thread Which to Jack said Hello. We also have this silly new "win the day" thing, and- don't have friends?!? No! Oh my goodness... Well, I suppose it didn't actually do anything, being friends in the forums; it was separate from the game, and it was separate from the main website. But sheesh... Don't replace smiling faces with some silly gold trophy indicating I spammed a lot of replies. The replacement is a 'follower' system, which I thoroughly disapprove of. But I suppose, something we all should note is that this all is " Powered by Invision Community." There is, I'm sure, reduced freedom for the poke-programmers within it. Why they chose to move could be questioned, certainly, but of course we'll never know because the yahoos at TPCi think 'transparency' is a curse word. I'm not going to get riled over that part, but can we dump this ridiculous days-won count? It had no conceivable purpose other than artificially inflating/deflating egos, which frankly none of us need provided by our forum service. There's a new aesthetic. Um. Is it just me, or is the new layout kind of... ugly? It's harsh & hard on the eyes, anyway. I would suggest making everything that's white a light to medium blue. I like what they've done with tables. Much more effective now. Spoilers are easier, too. That's a plus. No new fonts, though- sigh. I be a font boy. And importantly, the tabs seem unnecessarily convoluted now. The browse/activity/leaderboard seems to presume knowing who's gotten the most pluses lately is just as important as what's being discussed, which is silly since the discussion is what they're getting pluses for. Also, the home page required far more clicks to find content than before. Steve Jobs would not approve. (Heh. He originally didn't want the mouse to even have two buttons- just one and a scroll.) A couple of questions. (edit) Does anyone know how to switch from game log to chat log during a match? It's stuck for me. What is the current viability of Ultra Malamar in standard and Vespiquen in Expanded?

Hi readers, hope you are well. So lets get straight into it. The current state of the Legacy format is a little bit of a mess to say the least. There ladders is filled with bots grinding for tokens, When you do get a game there is a good chance its a player you have played against several times already that day. There are a few dedicated players who play the format however the bots and lack of available cards seem to push new players away to this fun game mode. Now we can take a look at the reasons why it has gotten like this over the past 12 months or so. 1) Lack of available cards. This is mostly due to the fact the legacy tournaments got removed, less older packs opened, less cards brought into the game. Since the ladder was removed players have been hoarding HGSS packs and cards to then sell on for huge profits. Even though we can purchase the packs for coins, lets face it building an entire deck from the cards you pull is unlikely this puts players off doing so. 2) The bot issue. Now the reason for this is obvious, with the trading bots at what seems to be an all time high, they need coins fast. Best way to do this is go against other bots. With people avoiding the legacy ladder, it seems the botters are having an easy time gaining coins off one another. Once again this puts people off playing, many of us dont mind waiting two minutes for a game but waiting 2 minutes to play against a bot is not fun! 3) No legacy tournaments anymore. We have touched on this but it is a huge part of the reason this format has declined. Most players dont want to build a deck if there is no chance of a reward at the end of it. The chance of winning packs from tournaments is a huge incentive for players to make new decks. After all why spend far more money on a legacy deck than you would for a standard deck, to have less options to play with it and also no chance of a reward? Now how can this be solved? Well without making a this new thread begging for the tournaments to come back, lets explore some other options. As i previously stated, the lack of available cards is a problem. One way we could get people back into is to make packs more common so when a player opens a pack, they want to build a deck with the new cards they have gotten. So why not add the packs to prize box from the trainer wheel, add packs to rewards from challenges, etc? Another route we could go down is adding the packs to the expanded ladder. Rather than making the reward X amount of Random Expanded boosters. Why not just X amount of Random boosters? I believe with more regularly available cards for the legacy format, more people will play. Once more people are playing, the bots should spread out from just one format leaving that current format dead. Many of us love the legacy format and dont wish for it to keep declining, a resolution needs to be made and quickly! If anybody has any more ideas please feel free to comment below! Regards, OldmanJonny

EXAMPLE: When I logged in this morning, I was greeted with a flurry of Notifications, "someone has reacted to your post." Just 11 hours ago, someone had gone out of their way to randomly "downvote" 8 of my older posts. Eight of them were given a negative rating, all in a matter of minutes, but they were all nice, helpful replies. They were sending a message directly to me, rather than what was written. Now, for ME? I couldn't give a flying flip, and that's probably one of the reasons why my "Reputation" (what a stupid system) has steadily risen the last couple years. I do what I do, and speak openly, regardless of what others think of me personally. Always have. Always will. The system -- of ranking people, rather than thoughts -- totally sucks. And has gotten much, much worse recently. One problem? Bullying because players have a "high" reputation? It's not hard to see. Many who start to build their rating also start to lecture. And think their opinion is better. That's one of the things I strongly disagree with personally. I don't think anyone should be intimidated, or feel like they're "less." Everyone should be on level ground, with no "experts." Posting a lot doesn't make anyone a better person or player than anyone else, and the current system makes that confusing. Newer players? There have been many who post something, and the wolf pack jumps them. They get a negative start, and never return. That's just a shame. Making mistakes? We've all been there, and all have done it. Even if one instance deserves "negative reviews," this rating system is totally intolerant of that fact. I really feel bad for some of these players. Flat out bullying, for no reason? Whoever they are, we all see it happen. Everyone needs to quit making excuses. The Pokémon Company needs to address this problem, and people trying to protect their ratings just need to let them. Either that, or come up with better ideas.

I can confirm this as a bug. The bug affects all Pokemon whose attacks have an item-locking effect: Seismitoad-EX FFI, Luxio ULP, Dragonite PLF, Zebstrika NXD, and Noivern-GX BUS. Whenever the item-locking attack in question is used, it locks the opponent from playing any form of trainer card from their hand; items, supporters, etc. As this can be done on turn 1 and heavily affects gameplay in both the standard and expanded formats, I would recommend a temporary ban to the cards listed above until a patch can be applied to where the intended effect occurs of only item-locking. Cards which item lock through abilities such as Trevenant XY behave as intended, as well as cards with similar effects such as supporter lock in the case of Exeggutor PLF 5.

I vote for expansion from 21 days to a full month. There just isn't time enough to do all the things that need doing in a day, and I'm rarely able to finish even the second page.

Both of you guys are friendly, helpful, and valued members in this community. If you're NOT getting "negative votes" at times, then you're just trying to say what others WANT to hear, and be pleasant ALL THE TIME, which is much worse. It's okay to be human on occasion. And we already know that TPCi is (probably) not going to implement a Ranked system, and get rid of VS Ladder. Unlike other online card games, PTCGO caters to the youngest children, as well as the guys who are old enough to spend money on booster packs. Personally, I have no objection. It might be a fun addition. Yet, it's silly to carry this recommendation too far (downvoting others just because they don't agree 100%). Does anyone think TPCi is going to do it differently because players are upvoting each other? Make your suggestion, hope they read and adopt it, and then move along.

Well, not really. Wasting time on purpose to troll is one thing, but taking your time with each move is fair game. You can't always auto-pilot through your turn, specially not against a tough oponent. Consider too that the way you play your deck will vary depending on the matchup, and even within the same matchup you have to play differently to adapt to different playstyles. People can take their time on each move and it's perfectly fine.

Based on the quality of your writing I'd say the chances of a hacker are 0/10 and the chances of you missing something are 11/10.

@Sakura150612Geez are you made of money (packs) or am I just stupid? FOUR TICKETS for ONE pack? My god that's a steal I was already thinking 8 tickets for one current gen (S&M +) pack or 10 for 2 older gen (XY -) packs seeing as it costs 8 to join an event but we could go with yours 😇. And who knows they did add some small barely noticeable new animations that no one has really seemed to have mentioned. And if I recall that Anexpor guy was kind of spamming for it so maybe he was on to something or its just coincidence they added one or two new animations. @SaucyMouse WHAT?! Why are you cursing at me?! I'm jk anyway set prices sounds fair if its trading in the in-game shop but if we wanted to trade with friends or other users then I think setting our own prices would be a nice incentive to even consider trading away these wonka tickets.

They would have to code the game to where when want to take a screenshot it'd be server side as opposed to client side so there's no funny business and sent directly into a users screenshot bank. to save on bandwidth the photos would need to expire between patches or server maintenance. Then they would need to link our accounts to the photo bank/cloud and we would only be allowed to select from our own bank. That is the safest way that I can think of. Also it sounds like a premium feature as opposed to something they'd be willing to give to us for free but I'm sure if we pester them long enough they might budge and allow us to pay for these premium features.

I'm glad to hear a couple of you say that [yes, this is sarcasm] it's "no big deal," shouldn't matter, is hypothetical, or isn't important enough to warrant a fix. Gotta protect your ability to spit at other's thoughts, right? Since I spoke out for others it was happening to, some great fellow [again, sarcasm] has been systematically downvoting each and every post I've made in the In-Game Exchange section. He started at the top, 6 through 8 votes a day, all within 5 minutes, and working his way backward. That's four days in a row now. Don't worry, some of us have friends who understand. One has "got my back," and is countervoting, so this creep won't succeed. I just wanted to make you aware, this is a real problem. How would any of you feel if someone was systematically downvoting each and everything you had done, even the best, most helpful, and nicest of your comments? Glad to see such a warm and welcoming Community, looking for ways to make it better. Great ideas. Awesome support. Oh, and thank you Mods for acknowledging a problem. [oops, there goes that sarcasm again].

I'm very torn on whether or not such "Reaction" options are a good thing or not. The short version is somethings are worth a well-written response, and some aren't. Some folks deceptively manipulate any system they can, and some don't. That doesn't mean something is unsalvageable. Possibly worth another thread is putting a time limit (or reducing it, if it already exists) for how long both good and bad Reputation last. Getting back to the way things already are no system is perfect. A negative reputation doesn't get you banned, does it? Restrict what you can do? If so, perhaps that needs to be changed as well. If not, then maybe the real problem is we're reading too much into Reputations in the first place?

Hello, There are definitely a number of reasons someone may be taking a little longer during their turn. They may be newer, distracted, or it could be a medical issue, to name a few things. Yes, it can be a tad bothersome, but remember: patience is a virtue. It could be you taking the extra time some day! Most importantly, it's a game that's meant to be enjoyed; take a break if you feel it necessary, and hop back in later on. Sincerely, DawsonJr

There is one major flaw with this and you already mentioned it yourself: No matter how many arbitrary shackles you put on a format, there will always be top tier decks. The problem a lot of beginners struggling with is not Pokemon EX / GX, but rather poor deck design and resulting inconsistency. None of those problems are removed if you get rid of the “good” cards. It doesn't matter if you ban 10, 100, or a 1000 cards, you'll never create an even playing field where you can throw together any pile of junk and still have a decent win rate.

Welcome Each set has its own symbol and each card have the symbol in the bottom part with its number in the set also.. The symbol allows you to know the set the card belongs, and the number what exact copy is. Is easier to start in Expanded, you already have a lot more staple trainers in Collection than Standard's. Staple trainers are the Competitive ones, those that will be in 95% of Meta decks. In Deck manager (and in Collection) you have Filter options, you can check all sets and symbols there, and choose the game shows you the Expanded cards (which include the Standard too) or only the Standard or the Legacy you have available to build your custom decks. Once you save a deck, will appear to use in Versus selecting also the Format you want to play in. Are you missing change the desired format while going to play versus? Choosing Theme will show you your Theme decks (the starting ones, only if you complete it through 7 wins in Trainer challenge game mode). Standard will show you your Custom Standard decks. In Expanded you'll have both Expanded and Standard-only decks but I don't recommend to use a Standard deck in Expanded, can work but you would be missing a lot of useful Expanded exclusive cards. Legacy will show your Legacy decks, if you built any.

I would love to see better filters in the trade and maybe even an Ignore option for future results. For filters I'd love the option to omit the trade results that contain certain types of cards like energy. Nothing annoys me more in the public trade than finding something for a rare GX than what you think is going to be a good trade only to open the page to see "Sun Moon Team Up pack +39 more" and the +39 more is just water energy or a bunch of random other basic non shiny energy. Please add a tick box to exclude trades with "energy", "basic non holo trainer cards", "gameplay items" or "avatar items". It will help refine the searches more and perhaps even deter people trolling the public trade with bogus offers. I don't think anyone wants to hand over their Secret Rare GXs for one pack and 39 energy. at least I dont. Also for the ignore offer option on viewed trades so we don't come across the same offers when reloading the trade window during same game session. I think that would be enormously helpful. Maybe even a counter offer option and for those who post they can auto refuse counter offers with one click. Thank You.
