[GAME] General - I can't upgrade

Every time I go to upgrade my account in the TCG online, and i go to log in to my previously existing account, it tells me that I can't use a previously existing account. Isn't that the whole point of logging in to upgrade?

If you already have an account, and wish to retrieve it and your collection/progress, you will need to exit Guest mode and return to the account login page. You can do so by following these steps:


First, access the in-game Options menu via the gears icon in the upper-right portion of the screen. (Please note that this is only accessible after or in-between tutorial matches. If you do not see the Options icon as pictured below, please continue to finish the tutorial match you have started.)

Next, select "Exit" (this will not immediately close the game client).

Now, simply choose to "Log Out".

Finally, you will be presented with the main login screen again, where you can now access your original account (after entering your credentials).

Notes: You cannot "Upgrade" a Guest account to an already existing account (you will get the error noted above). This is because the Guest account is intended for new players, and upgrading only creates a brand new PTC account.
