I have the forementioned deck:

##Pokémon - 18

* 1 Bouffalant BUS 108
* 2 Type: Null UPR 115
* 2 Silvally-GX CIN 90
* 1 Alolan Rattata SUM 76
* 1 Jirachi {*} CES 97
* 1 Alolan Vulpix GRI 21
* 1 Articuno-GX CES 31
* 2 Mudkip CES 33
* 1 Pyukumuku SUM 47
* 1 Suicune-GX LOT 200

* 1 Judge FLI 108
* 1 Lana BUS 117

* 2 Guzma BUS 115
* 2 Nest Ball SUM 123
* 1 Looker UPR 126
* 1 Copycat CES 127
* 1 Kahili LOT 179

##Energy - 16

* 3 Double Colorless Energy FCO 114
* 13 Water Energy  12

I have some 3 or 4 Lost Thunders and few GRIs. I want to go ahead and trade them for Vaporeon GX which would really help the current deck, a lot. But from the times I have been beaten by it, the sync between the Thunder Mountain and Electric GXs (Thundurus, Raichu, Tapu Koko) also seems great.
Which way should I move forward.

Also share any deck lists that you think are great.
(No Garchomps deck pls.)

Trade and make both :P Do some profit trading first or play tournaments so you can make 'em both. :lol:

If you can't get the Vaporeons, there's a Manaphy (from Shining Legends: Blessings of the Deep ability) that heals 20 damage. Almost as good, if that's the reason you want the card, and would be a lot cheaper to acquire.

Since you asked for deck lists, here's a Swampert/Empoleon list I snagged from the Philly regionals. It's a bit slow to start and you'd think shouldn't work well with 20 Pokemon and two stage two lines, but actually it has nice comeback potential and is especially great for water evolution challenges hehe.

And for electric, well I haven't touched Raichu since my Nuzzle Pikachus rotated out of Standard and need to rebuild it. I have an Expanded RaichuEels deck but haven't played with it recently either to say how well it does. So instead here's a Luxray control deck I stole from a YTer by the name of Odd EYES (I think) that is interesting to play (probably not that fun to play against tho haha). If this had Counter Gain in it, you could be doing the 150 snipe (with Thunder Mountain) for a single Electric discard which is, obviously, pretty nice. Saw that in a less controlly version of the deck on the YT channel Pokemon TCG Center.

I'm itching to get my hands on Ampharos-GX myself. It's just such a pretty card! :wub: And the Electropower synergy seems like a fun gimmick.

One thing I have noticed in many deck lists, they tend to have very low amount of energy in them, say 6-8. Dont they worry about running outta them in the middle of the game without any energy recycler ??

They don't, no. One of the Lost March decks uses just 3 grass energy, some DCEs, and the prism star energy that works with stage 2s. It will usually have enough to power the Jumpluffs to victory. With that deck, there is no "middle" of the game. Just the start, before you fill the Lost Zone, and the end, where you take down everything that comes at you. :D (Seriously, it can fail, but it's rare.)

The trick is to learn how much you need to get the job done.

The deck lists on this site (not in the forums) are tournament-tested. They have enough consistency to get to 8th or even 1st place when facing the best decks out there, because they mostly are the best decks out there.

Just played an Ampharos-GX deck. And it's BEAUTIFUL!!!  Combined with Thunder Mountain & Steven's Resolve, it gives me the ability to do 150 damage with single energy within first two turns.

Here's the decklist:

##Pokémon - 10

* 1 Mareep LOT 76
* 1 Mareep LOT 75
* 1 Mareep TEU 41
* 1 Stunfisk LOT 83
* 1 Tapu Koko-GX GRI 47
* 1 Thundurus-GX PR-SM SM133
* 1 Togedemaru SUM 53
* 1 Xurkitree FLI 39
* 1 Flaaffy LOT 77
* 1 Ampharos-GX TEU 43

##Trainer Cards - 37

* 1 Thunder Mountain {*} LOT 191
* 1 Aether Paradise Conservation Area GRI 116
* 2 Electropower LOT 172
* 1 Escape Rope BUS 114
* 2 Guzma BUS 115
* 1 Judge FLI 108
* 1 Poison Barb SUM 124
* 2 Max Potion BKP 103
* 1 Rotom Dex—Poké Finder Mode BUS 122
* 1 Super Scoop Up CES 146
* 1 Steven’s Resolve CES 145
* 2 Wishful Baton BUS 128
* 1 Big Malasada SUM 114
* 1 Lady FLI 109
* 1 Potion SUM 127
* 1 Beast Ring FLI 102
* 2 Switch CES 147
* 1 Tate & Liza CES 148
* 1 Hau CES 132
* 1 Lillie UPR 125
* 1 Energy Retrieval SUM 116
* 1 Copycat CES 127
* 1 Ultra Ball SUM 135
* 2 Nest Ball SUM 123
* 2 Rare Candy CES 142
* 2 Rescue Stretcher GRI 130
* 2 Cynthia UPR 119
* 1 Order Pad UPR 131

##Energy - 13

* 13 Lightning Energy  4

Total Cards - 60

I just love how Ampharos plays out with Max Potion. I can use it for as long as i want unless the opposing side can churn out a 240 damage.
All I need is a Xurkitree-gx and then I am going to tournaments. :)
