First time posting, I apologize if this question has been answered before. I've been playing a few weeks. I've noticed over the last couple of days that I'm getting these random "defeat" game enders. Sometimes I'll be up 5 to 1, or sometimes in a close game. What am I missing here? I've had players quite where I get a victory, but these defeats are random and in most cases I'm not behind. Is there a time element I'm missing? Thanks in advance!

There is a time element. Two of them, in fact.

Ways to lose:

  1. Run out of cards when you need to draw.
  2. Have no Pokemon in play on your side.
  3. Have your opponent take all their prize cards.
  4. Allow the timer (under your avatar) to run out.
  5. Repeatedly take too long to play a card.

Did I miss any?

4 and 5 are timers.

"Swishonk!" That's what's happening!

also add in there, if they are playing a lost world deck, they can atomically win if conditions are met.
