Hey Everyone! I always thought it would be cool to pair the delphox from Fates collide with another Pokemon. I saw the Gardvoir Gx option. It would be cool to put him with Delphox Break, Or Flareon Ex. Anybody have any other ideas?

I play a Delphox deck in extended for the ladder. I've got a pretty good win ratio, but to ramp energies I play Kawe, so the hyper-synergistic Ho-Oh-GX is a pretty obvious choice to combine with Delphox. Deck has (thanks to Ho-Oh) a pretty good early game, and the Delphox chain takes care of the late game. I think it's a good for-fun deck, but I wouldn't play it in tournaments!

Decklist is:

* 3 Fennekin
* 2 Ho-Oh-GX
* 2 Braixen
* 1 Delphox XY
* 1 Delphox FLI
* 1 Delphox FCO
* 3 Delphox BREAK
* 2 Tapu Lele-GX

* 2 Wally
* 1 N
* 1 Rare Candy
* 1 Super Rod
* 3 Professor Sycamore
* 1 Scorched Earth
* 2 Blacksmith
* 1 Fisherman
* 2 Cynthia
* 1 Energy Recycler
* 2 Guzma
* 2 Kawe
* 2 Ultra Ball
* 2 Choice ****
*** Field Blower
* 4 VS Seeker
* 1 Delinquent
* 1 Altar of the Sunne

* 4 Burning Energy
* 9 Fire Energy

Your list is pretty neat! Wally is going to be banned in 2 weeks though. Can you think of a substitute for a second Lele because I only have 1 and I have no way of getting another.

Granted!
A few cards could be substituted for other cards.

That is also interesting and cool. Do you think I could pair Delphox with Flareon Ex?

Flareon EX is a Basic Pokémon.
I think Flareon EX gets stronger with more Fire Energy attached to it.
The Delphox deck list I showed doesn’t want to use Flareon EX as a pair.
My gut is telling me absolutely not!

However, The creative juices are thinking now!
Yes! The muses are coming to whisper in my ear.

I got it!
Flareon EX can be paired with Delphox EX!

POW!
Brilliant!

I can see the partial-deck list before my very eyes.
-Flareon EX
-Delphox EX
-Toss 2 Tapu Lele’s
-Toss 2 Kiawe for turn 1.
-Toss 3-4 Fighting Fury Belts to buff there HP.

Your in business.

Delphox EX isn’t the greatest partner in the world for Flareon EX.
People would probably pair Flareon EX with Ho-oh GX.
Ho-oh GX Attack is a stable 180 Damage.
Delphox EX Attack is all over the place.
It depends on the energy in your opponents hand.
-One turn it is 80
-Another turn it is 280

It’s unstable, but it is playable.
Every deck runs energy so it’s not like you will face no energy decks every where.
It’s not the worst idea.
It’s not the best idea.
It’s just in the GREY AREA!
It is said that if Gengar is hiding, it cools the area by nearly 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
