NOTE:  One of the Pokémon above (Klink, in STS Gears of Fire) is intentionally misspelled (sp) with the Basic's name, because the censor in this forum is fickle.  Add "lang" to the Basic.  This Pokémon must be a hater, with a name that includes 4 letters that belong to a supremacist group with pointed hats.

EDIT:  Added the two decks from Celestial Storm. Current thru 8/3/2018.

EDIT:  Added the two decks from Lost Thunder.  Current thru 11/2/2018.

With the old decks in the Shop now, I figure that many players might have questions about any other Theme Decks that are (or were) available.  Hopefully, this list (in the original post) will be helpful to at least a few.

The built-in decks can vary for players, depending on when they started playing.  New players receive them in the beginning of the Trainer Challenge, and they also get any subsequent versions (which are released later).  Roughly, they quit giving the HS Basic decks after 2013, Basic Orange after 2014, BW Basic decks after 2015, XY Basic decks after 2016, and today's new players receive the 3 Later XY-era decks.

I know very little about the playability of the Basic Decks from the HGSS-era.  I've learned that the Basic Orange deck was given as a Daily Login Bonus to new players, and (like Mental Might) it is not playable in the Trainer Challenge.

At this time, the latest Trainer Kit (A. Ninetales & A. Sandslash), which was released a few weeks ago, does not appear in the game properly.  Prior to redeeming the code card, it doesn't show as a "Pack" in the Collection, even when "Show Not Owned" is checked.  After redemption it doesn't appear like the rest of them (in Deck Manager or Trainer Challenge).  In fact, even the box, bought from the store, doesn't seem to have an "official name" (other than Sun & Moon Trainer Kit).  This is the first Trainer Kit that produced four promos, rather than 60 individually numbered cards.  Those 4 promos do appear in the game, and can be found in Public Offers.

Except for Basic Orange, I think the HS decks were discontinued in 2013 or earlier.  Basic Orange was discontinued around Aug 2014.

This is awesome! Do you think they can bring back the theme decks that were discontinued so we can purchase them with tokens/gems? This would make me so happy!!! My collection needs them.

@Graywh are you staff bro just wondering because maybe you can help :)

@RobRatt just noticed a mistake Basic Orange is a BW series deck NOT a HGSS series deck. I have that one.

I'm only missing 8 actually (technically 9 if you count the glitched Alolan Ninetales/Alolan Sandlash Trainer Kit):

XY Basic Decks   (4 built into the game, no longer available)

XY Basic Blue -- Greninja / Walrein / Gyarados
XY Basic Green -- Shiftry / Chesnaught / Simisage
XY Basic Red -- Delphox / Magcargo / Rapidash

XY Basic Yellow -- Raichu / Manectric / Druddigon

And

HS Basic Decks   (5 built into the game, no longer available)

Basic Blue -- Feraligatr / Blastoise / Vaporeon
Basic Green -- Meganium / Torterra / Butterfree
Basic Red --  Typhlosion / Magmortar / Flareon
Basic Yellow -- Ampharos / Lanturn / Togekiss

I hope these become accessible again! Maybe purchasable in the shop or maybe even as a retro prize wheel reward hehe :)

Thank you for the update.  I've never owned or played those older Basic Decks.

** Modified post #2 accordingly.

Cool yeah just a heads up in game it says BW before Basic Orange like the other BW decks so I think in your post it should say BW Basic Orange -- Gigalith / Conkeldurr / Mienshao like the other BW decks!

Sorry I'm just a stickler for format and I hope this post gets a sticky so I feel like everything should be just perfect lol :)

Yeah from what I can see from you I think we both are really similar. We both what to help this game be as accessible as possible and we want to provide whatever knowledge we can to the community.

I hope we can become better friends and work together to help this game. Not because we are "special", but rather because we just love Pokemon and we will work our hardest to help!!

Thanks again for everything ya do RobRatt!

The next 2 Theme Decks are scheduled for release August 3rd (in Celestial Storm, the next set).  They look promising, but it's a bit premature for complete deck lists.  They're centered around Sceptile & Swampert.

This is a rough translation of the Japanese cards, courtesy of PokeBeach...

Sceptile – Grass – HP140
Stage 2 – Evolves from Grovyle

Ability:  Nature Power
Each of your Pokemon with [G] Energy attached receives no damage from the attacks of your opponent's Ultra Beasts.

[G]  Powerful Storm: 20x damage.  This attack does 20 damage times the number of Energy attached to your Pokémon in play.

Weakness:  Fire (x2)
Resistance:  none
Retreat:  1

Swampert – Water – HP160
Stage 2 – Evolves from Marshtomp

Ability:  Power Draw
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may discard a card from your hand, then draw 3 cards.

[C][C][C]  Hydro Pump: 80+ damage.  This attack does 20 more damage for each [W] Energy attached to this Pokémon.

Weakness:  Grass (x2)
Resistance:  none
Retreat:  3

P.S.  If possible, I'd like to keep this thread on topic (about Theme Deck releases, and those which appear in the game).  Please start a separate discussion (in Player vs. Player, maybe) if you want to talk about overpowered decks, strength comparisons, or other playability issues.

Take my upvotes!

It is very nice to see them all.

We're still a month away, but it's nice to have a peek ahead.  The next 2 Theme Decks are scheduled for release November 2nd (in Lost Thunder, the next set).

They're centered around Entei (Blazing Volcano) and Raikou (Storm Caller).

This is a rough translation of the Japanese cards, courtesy of PokeBeach...

Entei – Fire – HP130
Basic Pokemon

[R][C]  Fire Fang:  20 damage.  Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Burned.

[R][R][C]  Eruption:  80+ damage.  Each player discards the top card from their deck.  This attack does 60 more damage for each Energy card discarded.

Weakness:  Water (x2)
Resistance:  none
Retreat:  2

Raikou – Lightning – HP120
Basic Pokémon

[L][C]  Lost Voltage:  30 damage.  If you have any [L] Energy in the Lost Zone, this attack does 90 more damage.

Weakness:  Fighting (x2)
Resistance:  Metal (-20)
Retreat:  2
