The special GX Sanctuary attack does not work. In the starting record when using it it appears as: Xerneas-GX of 003f90 (without causing any effect, I have already tested it 6 times in different circumstances)

I hope the solutions soon, with many other errors that still exist in the game, for a long time, such as: skill of Manaphy EX, Box Mega Gengar, etc ...

Hey

I can't read that, but from the title I know what it's about! I just came here to report the same bug. Tried to use Xerneas' Sanctuary attack 3 times in separate battles just now, and the opponent's Pokemon was shielded from the attack, and it had no effect at all.

Thanks :)

Hi Trainers,

Without a game log, it is difficult to determine what the issue may be here. Has anyone else run into the issue, or did either of you save your game log(s)?

For reference, here is the card in question:

I didn't save the game log. How is that done?

I haven't tried it since, but I will soon, and if it happens again I'll save the log.

After the game, on the summary screen, there are 3 buttons at the lower left.

Click the third, a "clipboard" icon. It shows the game log.

At the top of THAT is the "Export game log" button.

When you click that one, the log is copied to your clipboard.

Paste it into a text editor of some sort.

Thanks SandledOtter... I don't think I would have discovered how to do it, otherwise xD

Hope that helps, Jynthu! I was lucky to get Xerneas out straight away. Xerneas had 70 damage on it, which should have been transferred, but the opponents' Pokemon reacts like it is shielded from any attack, with a shield animation. The damage stays on Xerneas.

I wonder if Wonder Energy is at fault here.

Someone recently reported a similar problem with AOR Whimsicott's Windy Mischief:

Oh.... that's interesting. I'll have a try without using Wonder Energy.

Do note that if Wonder Energy is the cause, this is still a bug. W.E. should only affect the effects of the opponent's attacks.

Hello, I´m really disappointed,

there arent many tournaments you can play without spending real money, maybe one in 2-3 days. Just in that one tournament, just in the first round, I lost because there was a strong bug (or a cheater-enemy, i sent report to check).

Without any effect at my enemies pokemon (I checked very exactly!) my Xerneas Gx attack didnt run and so I couldnt win...

I know bugs are always possible - but thats really not okay JUST at tournament, in 6 months I play pokemon now there was not one single time I got a bug like that one at a vs-mode game.

I would appreciate if I would get my 8 tickets for that tournament back, otherwise I think its absolutly NOT fair...

greetings

You were correct, SandledOtter.

Sanctuary is working with basic energy, but the opponent is shielded when a Wonder energy is attached to the attacking Pokemon.

Sorry, Mods, to be slow getting back to this. I hope the issue might soon be resolved!

Hi Trainers,

This has been added to the known issues list

Xerneas-GX (FLI #90, 126, 139): Sanctuary GX will fail to move any damage counters if Xerneas-GX has Wonder Energy attached and is your only damaged Pokemon.

Thanks for everyone's help in finding this issue!

Please note that I have merged two threads regarding this issue.

Thank you Mod Jynthu :D

I just noticed a similar issue... I was using Lunala, and had three energy attached, and the Stadium card Dimension Valley (attacks cost one less energy). That should have been enough to use Psyshock attack... but it didn't allow it. One of the energies attached was a special Pyschic energy (although that shouldn't make a difference). I guess the bug is with the special energies?

If you're talking about Lunala Prism Star's Psystorm, note that Dimension Valley only reduces the attack cost by one *colorless* energy and Psystorm's cost is 4 psychic.

She said Lunala.  But all of the Lunala (including Prism Star and GX) use strictly Psychic Energy for their attacks, so the same principal would apply, no matter which one.
