2 Gardevoir-GX (BUS 93)

1 Tapu Lele-GX (GRI 60)

2 Ralts (BUS 91)

3 Mawile-EX (XYP 103)

2 M Mawile-EX (XYP 104)

1 Kirlia (BUS 92)

11 Fairy Energy (SM 172)

2 Enhanced Hammer (GRI 162)

2 Choice Band (BUS 162)

3 Field Blower (GRI 125)

4 Ultra Ball (SM 161)

3 Professor Sycamore (STS 114)

2 Energy Switch (SM 117)

2 Mawile Spirit Link (XYP 105)

2 Float Stone (BKT 137)

4 N (FCO 105)

1 Energy Reset (FCO 98)

3 Acerola (BUS 142)

2 Nest Ball

2 Damage Mover (SLG 58)

3 Guzma (BUS 143)

2 Energy Loto (GRI 122)

1 Rare Candy (SM 129)

How does this deck look? Mega Mawile's ability to detach up to 2 energies from the opponent's active Pokemon seemed like something worth trying out. I built around it, used a Lele for drawing supporters (Acerola and Damage Mover for recycling it), and used Gardevoir-GX for energy acceleration. Any tips for how I can improve the deck?

Hello KinoFire,

The strategy of this deck is very interesting. It reminds me of years and years ago when we used to use the super powerful item cards "Energy Removal" and "Super Energy Removal". Those cards were extremely tough to play around! The Gardevoir-GX addition helps to ramp up enough energy in 1 turn if needed for most fairy attacks so that's a great choice for this deck. I'm really wondering how a mirror match up would be!

Let me know how this deck works out and if you find any improvements!

Interesting spin on the Garde archetype. :)

Some suggestions I have:

  • Cut the damage mover.  It's  a very ineffective way to move counters anyway, but without combos like Max Potion, it'll rarely even help, I think.
  • Add another candy for consistency.
  • Add 2-ish cynthia for more draw power.  Maybe cut an N.
  • Consider Fairy Garden over float stone.
  • If you have more Lele, add them.  If not, don't sweat it.
  • Take out one blower- three seems a bit excessive.
  • I don't know how useful the energy reset is in this deck.  If you think it's really working, then keep it, but otherwise I'd say drop it and maybe pick up a super rod.
  • Possibly 2 rescue stretcher.

I tried to make a Mawile deck a while ago, but it was a really techy version that used Florges-BREAK, and it completely failed.  Hopefully you will have better luck! :P

The rest of the world must act as they see fit.  If TPCi insists on keeping the Chat canned, that is their decision.

But that does not stop me from opposing it.

And I will oppose it forever.

This sounds really interesting. I’m going to have to give this a try! Thanks for your suggestion!
