As far as I can remember, it wasn't possible to concede when it was opponent's turn.

You didn't had to wait until your own turn to (push) concede, but the game ended when the turn changed back.

Am I right or this never happened?

It was there and has gone? (for sure has gone as it's not happening, but am I right about my previous thought?).

It's ridiculous when you've already won and both know, waiting people to make every possible single play in their turn to finally attack for nothing and then, they concede before you can KO last 'mon.

I know, it's a win anyway and can be as much 1 minute, but it's lack of sportsmanlike conduct. In addition and this is mainly why I'm asking, when completing challenges this frustrates 1 more KO, or some more damage, or an evolution you could have made in your own turn.

Anyone remembers?

Thanks

This is the exact reason why it would be a terrible idea to prevent someone from quitting the game whenever they like.

Just switch the roles in your scenario. You know that you lost the game and that your opponent just needs to attack, but then he starts to milk his turn for as long as possible, because he can. No added value, just pure lack of respect for the opponent and their time, as well as the need to show off.

Yes, it is annoying when you lose a KO for your challenge, due to your opponent quitting the game, but forcing them to stay until the end can't be the solution.

This topic has furthermore been discussed to death and there are a lot of potential ideas floating around (the one I like the best is to replace the opponent who left with a bot, either until the game is over for good, or just until your current turn ends [actions in the opponents turn are rather limited anyway, so that's not an issue]).

The shadows of the abyss are like the petals of a monstrous flower that shall blossom within the skull and expand the mind beyond what any man can bear, but whether it decays under the earth or above on green fields, or out to sea or in the very air, all shall come to revelation, and to revel, in the knowledge of the strangling fruit - and the hand of the sinner shall rejoice, for there is no sin in shadow or in light that the seeds of the dead cannot forgive...

Ever since ive been playing this game you can concede when you want.

All in all, take a concede as a sign of them showing you respect, they know they cant win and they are giving you the win instead of dragging it out.  The definition of concede is admitting defeat. Lack of sportsmanship would be you playing out everything in your hand when you already know you have the win with a single attack.  Not the other way around. Running up the score on an opponent isnt showing sportsmanship.

Trust me you would rather run into the guys who concedes then that guy who runs down their clock to 0 just to waste time when you are winning.

Thank you, just my mind then. Probably dream it hahaha

As for the rest of discussion...

If you are going to concede, do it directly. If you don't and make all moves, then wait for your KO. Should be... anyway

As I play, if I'm loosing and it's only a KO for the opponent, I do whatever I have to do for any challenge if any, or I just pass sometimes as I won't win anyway, to make opponent possible to Attack and KO (for if any challenge for him/her).

But if has to attack and then starts UB for a Lele then Supporter and then... then I concede. I gave him/her the "opportunity" to finish but didn't.

If it's vice versa and I have to 1 attack to KO and win, I do whatever for a challenge if any, and if not, just try to be sure it's a KO and not missing nothing for 10 damage. Then attack for the win. Not trying to bench 3 more pokémon, add energy and so on.

But I got the point, you're right about prevent to leave whenever. And no matter what, if the option was there sometime, is gone, and if it didn't, still the same, I was just curious. :D

Thanks both :)

Hi Trainers,

Thank you for the helpful responses! We had a feedback thread approximately a month ago regarding the concede feature. If you would like to read some thoughts from other players on this, you can view that thread here:

http://forums.pokemo...e-needs-fixing/

Due to the age of that thread, however, I would recommend continuing any discussion on this topic on this thread, and not the older one.

some ppl are doing other challenges aside from KO challenge. An evolution challenge would require them to use all their moves.

Right, an EVO challenge is evolve and concede, a damage challenge is attack and concede.

"Swishonk!" That's what's happening!
