Change Log

Feb. 16, 2018

  • Added: Darkrai-EX (DEX #63, 107, LTR #88, PR #BW46): Dark Cloak's effect does not consistently recognize Dangerous Energy (AOR #82) as a {D} Energy.
  • Added: Manaphy-EX (BKP #32, 116): Aqua Tube's effect does not consistently recognize Splash Energy (BKP #113) as a {W} Energy.

Feb. 14, 2018

  • Removed (FIXED): Eevee (FFI #80, SUM #101): When Energy Evolution is used while the opponent has Glaceon-GX (UPR #39, 141, 159) in play, selecting any GX card other than Glaceon-GX will cause that card to be shuffled back into the deck instead of put into play.
  • Removed (FIXED): Robo Substitute (PHF #102): Discarding this card from play while it is the Active Pokémon prevents you from advancing the match. Due to the potential impact of this bug, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Lucario (PR #SM95): Putting Lucario into play when you already have Garchomp in play prevents you from advancing the match. The non-promo version of Lucario from Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism is not affected by this bug. Due to the potential impact of this bug, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Carbink (ROS #47): Using Ninja Boy to replace Carbink with a different Pokémon causes the new Pokémon to become completely immune to damage from attacks while on the Bench or Active. Due to the high potential for exploitation, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Diglett (EVO #55): Using Ninja Boy to replace Diglett with a different Pokémon causes the new Pokémon to become completely immune to damage from attacks while on the Bench or Active. Due to the high potential for exploitation, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Magikarp (CIN #17): Using Ninja Boy to replace Magikarp with a different Pokémon causes the new Pokémon to become completely immune to damage from attacks while on the Bench or Active. Due to the high potential for exploitation, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Training Center (FFI #102): When Basic Pokémon with damage counters is evolved to Stage 1 or Stage 2 it gains +30 HP and takes 30 damage. Due to the potential impact of this bug, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Removed (FIXED): Effects that prevent a Pokémon from using a specific attack on the following turn are not removed when that Pokémon is moved to the Bench.

Feb. 2, 2018

  • Added: Eevee (FFI #80, SUM #101): When Energy Evolution is used while the opponent has Glaceon-GX (UPR #39, 141, 159) in play, selecting any GX card other than Glaceon-GX will cause that card to be shuffled back into the deck instead of put into play.
  • Added: Exp. Share (SUM #118): This card's effect does not consistently activate when an effect that increases the amount of damage received from an attack is present on the Pokémon that was Knocked Out.
  • Added: Robo Substitute (PHF #102): Discarding this card from play while it is the Active Pokémon prevents you from advancing the match. Due to the potential impact of this bug, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.

Feb. 1, 2018

  • Added: Alolan Sandslash (UPR #29): The game log shows incorrect text when the retaliation effect of Spike Armor is triggered.
  • Added: Lucario (PR #SM95): Putting Lucario into play when you already have Garchomp in play prevents you from advancing the match. The non-promo version of Lucario from Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism is not affected by this bug. Due to the potential impact of this bug, this card has been temporarily banned from play until a fix can be deployed.
  • Added: Pidgeot-EX (EVO #64, 104): After Pidgeot-EX is damaged by an opponent's attack on consecutive turns Mirror Move will do no damage.
  • Added: Sea of Nothingness (CIN #99): Special Conditions with a stronger than normal effect, such as from Dragalge's Severe Poison attack, revert to the normal version of the Special Condition when the affected Pokémon is devolved.
  • Added: The Prism Star icon does not appear properly in text fields.
  • Added: The Login Bonus and Daily Versus Rewards rollover timers count down to midnight in the device's time zone setting, rather than to the actual rollover at midnight UTC. This is a display issue only and these rewards continue to roll over at midnight UTC as intended.

Cards

  • Alolan Sandslash (UPR #29): The game log shows incorrect text when the retaliation effect of Spike Armor is triggered.
  • Bastiodon (STS #70): Damage counters from Counter Head's retaliation effect are placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.
  • Bent Spoon (FCO #90): The effect of this card may replace existing damage prevention effects on the Pokémon to which it is attached, rather than supplementing the existing effect.
  • Darkrai-EX (DEX #63, 107, LTR #88, PR #BW46): Dark Cloak's effect does not consistently recognize Dangerous Energy (AOR #82) as a {D} Energy.
  • Electrode (EVO #40): The development team is currently investigating sporadic reports that using the Buzzap Thunder Ability can prevent the match from progressing. Players who experience this issue should submit a support ticket with a copy of the full gamelog for further investigation by the team.
  • Exp. Share (SUM #118): This card's effect does not consistently activate when an effect that increases the amount of damage received from an attack is present on the Pokémon that was Knocked Out.
  • Manaphy-EX (BKP #32, 116): Aqua Tube's effect does not consistently recognize Splash Energy (BKP #113) as a {W} Energy.
  • Metagross-GX (GRI #85, 139, 157): Energy cards attached to a Pokémon by Geotech System are not affected by Abilities that change the type of Energy those cards provide.
  • Pidgeot-EX (EVO #64, 104): After Pidgeot-EX is damaged by an opponent's attack on consecutive turns Mirror Move will do no damage.
  • Sea of Nothingness (CIN #99): Special Conditions with a stronger than normal effect, such as from Dragalge's Severe Poison attack, revert to the normal version of the Special Condition when the affected Pokémon is devolved.
  • Snorlax (FLF #80, GEN #58): Effects that suppress Abilities do not prevent the effect of Stir and Snooze.
  • Turtonator (BUS #26): Damage from the Flame Cloak attack is not listed in the game log.
  • Turtonator-GX (BUS #18, 131, 148): Damage counters from Shell Trap's retaliation effect are placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.
  • Volcarona (DEX #22): Burning Scales affects the owner's Burned Pokémon.
  • Wobbuffet (PR #XY155): Damage counters from Right Back at You's retaliation effect are placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.

General

  • An error may occur when attempting to uninstall the game via the Control Panel when installed in any language other than English. Running the Installer and selecting "Uninstall" will resolve the issue.
  • Cards may appear blurry for a small number of specific MacBook configurations.
  • The Login Bonus and Daily Versus Rewards rollover timers count down to midnight in the device's time zone setting, rather than to the actual rollover at midnight UTC. This is a display issue only and these rewards continue to roll over at midnight UTC as intended.
  • The Mac client may fail to install or update over a wireless connection for systems running OSX 10.12 or higher.
  • Uninstalling the Windows client does not automatically remove game files from the AppData\LocalLow\Unity\WebPlayer\Cache folder. These must be deleted manually.

Gameplay: General

  • A placeholder image appears on the playmat for some deck boxes.
  • A player's time clock is incorrectly reduced by 2-3 seconds each time their turn ends.
  • Cards removed from the attacking Pokémon to meet the requirement of an optional "if you do" attack effect are removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • In some rare cases you may be prevented from advancing the match after opening the Settings menu during an action's animation.
  • When a single effect allows damage counters to be placed on multiple Pokemon, the game log will only list the last Pokemon selected.

Gameplay: Versus

  • Some players may not appear in the Versus Leaderboards Pokemon.com, despite having earned Versus points during the time frame selected.

Cards: Collection

  • In the Spanish game client, Ultra Ball cards from Black & White series sets are not grouped together with Ultra Ball cards from XY and Sun & Moon series sets in the Card Info window's Additional Versions panel. This is a display issue only and does not affect playability of the cards.
  • The Pikachu (PR XY202) and Gym Badge (PR XY203-XY210) promos do not appear when the League filter is enabled.
  • The Prism Star icon does not appear properly in text fields.

Cards: Deck Manager

  • Evolution cards may appear in the wrong order when building or viewing a deck.
  • The Deck Wizard may occasionally build a deck that includes a card with an effect that has a specific Energy type requirement without also including cards with the corresponding Energy type.

Cards: Trading

  • Bundle Pack items do not appear in the Create Trade section.
  • In some very rare situations items in a trade offer can become stuck in escrow after the offer expires.
  • Rejected private trade offers display a dash, rather than the trade partner's screen name, in the Trade History.
  • While an avatar item is equipped any additional, tradable copies of that item in the Collection cannot be included in a trade offer.

Profile

  • The Pokémon website and the game client do not consistently show the same Trainer Token balance.
