Cards

  • Alolan Ninetales (BUS #28): While the opponent's Active Pokemon is a Pokemon-EX or Pokemon-GX the Luminous Barrier Ability prevents all friendly attack effects done to Alolan Ninetales.
  • Alph Lithograph (UD #THREE): Playing this card from the hand to anywhere on the playmat other than over the Stadium card in play does not allow the Stadium card to be selected.
  • Altar of the Moone (GRI #117): The effect of this card is not consistently applied to Pokemon with an attached Special Energy card that provides every type of Energy.
  • Chinchou (SUM #49): The opponent's Prize cards are unnecessarily zoomed when the opponent uses the Searching Light attack.
  • Dialga (PHF #122): This card does not display properly in the game client.
  • Deino (DRX #93, LTR #97): The effect of the Deep Growl attack does not require a coin flip.
  • Gastly (EVO #47): The effect of the Little Grudge attack does not consistently activate when Gastly is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack.
  • Gliscor (PHF #47): The effect of the Poison Jab attack does not require a coin flip.
  • Haunter (EVO #48): In the Portuguese game client the Dream Eater attack is missing the word 'not' from attack's "If your opponent's Active Pokémon is not Asleep, this attack does nothing." text.
  • Herbal Energy (FFI #103): The Verdant Wind Ability (Virizion-EX PLB #9, 96) does not recognize this card as a G Energy while it is in play.
  • Lost World (CL #81): There is no visual indicator for the number of Pokémon that each player has in the Lost Zone.
  • Machamp BREAK (EVO #60): The effect of the Boomerang Lariat attack increases damage that Machamp BREAK does to itself on the following turn.
  • Ninja Boy (STS #103): Switching a Pokemon that can have multiple Pokemon Tool cards attached with a Pokemon that can only have 1 Pokemon Tool card attached does not cause all but 1 attached Pokemon Tool card to be discarded.
  • Random Receiver (DEX #99, PLS #138, FCO #109): If the Arrange Energy setting in the Options menu is set to Front of Hand, the hand becomes invisible once the Supporter card is selected. The hand reappears after changing the Arrange Energy setting, drawing a card or removing a card from the discard pile.
  • Reshiram (LTR #114): This card does not display properly in the game client.
  • Shroomish (GEN RC2): The effect of the Worry Seed attack does not require a coin flip.
  • Silent Lab (PRC #140): Coming into play Abilities on some Stage 1 Pokémon cannot be used while Silent Lab is in play.
  • Toxicroak (STS #59): The effect of the Poison Jab attack does not require a coin flip.
  • Wonder Energy (PRC #144): The Sweet Veil (Slurpuff XY #95) and Flower Shield (Comfey GRI #93) Abilities do not recognize this card as a Y Energy while it is in play.
  • Vileplume (AOR #3): The Irritating Pollen Ability may not consistently affect to both players.
  • Volcanion (STS #25): The 2016 Rescue Season version of this card is missing the League logo and does not appear when the League filter is enabled.
  • Zebstrika (NXD #48): The effect of the Disconnect attack is incorrectly removed from the opponent when Zebstrika is moved to the Bench.
  • Zekrom (LTR #115): This card does not display properly in the game client.

General

  • An error may occur when attempting to uninstall the game via the Control Panel when installed in any language other than English. Running the Installer and selecting "Uninstall" will resolve the issue.
  • Players that are logged in during a rolling server update may be unable to see some items in the game until after the client has been closed and relaunched.
  • The Bitdefender anti-virus program may throw a false positive warning when installing the Mac game client.
  • The Daily Bonus window occasionally displays a different booster pack for the day 5 reward than the booster pack that is actually received.
  • Windows: Changing your system date may disable some sound effects.
  • Windows: Uninstalling the game does not automatically remove game files from the AppData\LocalLow\Unity\WebPlayer\Cache folder. These must be deleted manually.

Gameplay: General

  • A placeholder image appears on the playmat for some deck boxes.
  • A player's time clock is incorrectly reduced by 2-3 seconds each time their turn ends.
  • Abilities on the opponent's Pokemon that suppress other Abilities are not prevented by the Theta Stop Ancient Trait.
  • After a Prize is taken as the result of an attack, quickly reselecting the Prize pile before the turn ends can cause the Prizes to remain stuck in the zoomed position. Clicking on any card in play will return the Prizes to the playmat.
  • Attacks such as Retaliate and Revenge incorrectly do additional damage after a Pokemon is Knocked Out on the previous turn as a result of being devolved by the effect of the opponent's attack.
  • Cards in the hand appear slightly misaligned.
  • Players may occasionally get stuck on the "Waiting For Your Opponent To Load The Game" message at the start of a match.
  • Some effects that suppress Abilities will incorrectly carry over to the start of a Sudden Death match.
  • The Prize card stack can only be inspected while one or more Prize cards is face-up due to a card effect (e.g. Town Map, BKT #150).
  • When a single effect allows damage counters to be placed on multiple Pokemon, the game log will only list the last Pokemon selected.
  • When affected by an attack which disables one of your Pokémon's attacks, there is no notification of which attack was disabled.

Gameplay: Trainer Challenge

  • Booster packs rewards from earning 4 stars on a Trainer Challenge opponent or league are displayed in a Products Redeemed window.

Gameplay: Versus

  • A Versus match does not automatically end when the opponent loses connection. The player remaining in the match must either wait for the opponent's timer to expire or concede to end the match.
  • Some players may not appear in the Versus Leaderboards Pokemon.com, despite having earned Versus points during the time frame selected.

Gameplay: Events

  • After disconnecting from the game during the opening coin flip, reconnecting to the game returns the player to a blank playmat and no further game actions can be taken.
  • Selecting a different location in the game as a new tournament round starts prevents you from loading into that tournament match.

Cards: Collection

  • The Pikachu (PR XY202) and Gym Badge (PR XY203-XY210) promos do not appear when the League filter is enabled.
  • Trophies earned from completed Events can no longer be viewed in the Collection.

Cards: Deck Manager

  • Exported deck lists do not use the correct abbreviation for XY—Fates Collide.
  • The Deck Wizard may occasionally build a deck that includes a card with an effect that has a specific Energy type requirement without also including cards with the corresponding Energy type.
  • The Wins Since Last Edit stat displays the wrong value if the first match played after editing the deck is lost due to concession.

Cards: Trading

  • Bundle Pack items do not appear in the Create Trade section.
  • In some very rare situations items in a trade offer can become stuck in escrow after the offer expires.
  • Options for filtering cards and items in "I Am Giving" while Creating a Trade are inconsistent.
  • Rejected private trade offers display a dash, rather than the trade partner's screen name, in the Trade History.
  • When multiple Public Trade offers are posted in rapid succession the Trainer Token listing costs may appear incorrectly. This is a visual issue only.
  • While creating a trade offer, trade tag buttons are only visible while an item is zoomed.

Shop

  • Redeeming multiple codes for the same unowned theme deck at the same time causes all of the decks to be delivered opened, rather than just 1 of the decks.

Profile

  • The Pokémon website and the game client do not consistently show the same Trainer Token balance.
  • Secret Rare cards are ignored when determining set completion.
