GENERAL
- Support added for the Forest Shadow, Roaring Heat, and Bright Tide theme decks from the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon expansion. The full Sun & Moon expansion will be available in the game beginning February 3.

COLLECTION
- Improved the options available in the Sort By field.
- The Search bar now handles spaces in a phrase as an AND modifier. To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotation marks.

SHOP
- Code cards found in physical Sun & Moon expansion products can be redeemed now in the Shop or at pokemon.com/tcgo. Theme decks are available for immediate use. Booster packs will be added to the Packs tab in the Collection immediately and can be opened once the full Sun & Moon expansion is available in the game beginning February 3.

Cards

  • Bronzong (FCO #61): The Metal Fortress Ability now only prevents damage done to your Benched Pokémon by your opponent's attacks.
  • Caitlin (PLB #78): This card no longer displays an empty reveal window after cards are placed on the bottom of the deck.
  • Drifblim (UD #12): The correct Pokémon is now promoted to the Active position after the Take Away attack is used.
  • Electrode (EVO #40): Electrode now consistently counts as 2 L Energy when attached to a Pokémon via the Buzzap Thunder Ability.
  • Galvantula (STS #42): The button text for the Double Thread attack has been updated to reflect the errata'd text.
  • Greedy Dice (STS #102): When multiple Prizes are taken automatically at the end of a match, drawing Greedy Dice as a face-down Prize no longer prevents further Prizes from being drawn.
  • Greninja BREAK (BKP #41): The prompt text for the Moonlight Slash attack now properly states that the selected Energy returned to the hand.
  • Hypno (FFI #36): The correct animation now plays when the Hand Control attack selects a Supporter that does not require a selection.
  • Landorus-EX (BCR #89): The correct animation now plays when the Hammerhead attack is used.
  • Leavanny (PHF #7): Pokémon Tool cards attached via the Coordinate attack now function properly.
  • Ninja Boy (STS #103): The Delta Plus Ancient Trait is no longer transferred to the incoming Pokémon.
  • Ninja Boy (STS #103): The effects of attacks which only affect Pokémon with specific attributes, such as Dialga-EX's Chrono Wind, now correctly affect Pokémon without those attributes that come into play via Ninja Boy.
  • Ninja Boy (STS #103): The Omega Barrier Ancient Trait is no longer transferred to the incoming Pokémon.
  • Porygon-Z (AOR #67): The Digital Reboot attack now allows more than 1 Benched Pokémon to be selected.
  • Rapidash (FLF #15): The Agility attack no longer prevents damage counters placed by a retaliation effect.
  • Snorlax-GX (PR #SM05): This card now properly filters as a Promo in the Collection, Deck Manager, and Trade areas.
  • Starmie (EVO #31): The Space Beacon Ability no longer requires manual selection while only 1 card is in the hand.
  • Swampert-EX (PR #XY55): The prompt text for the Mud Flood attack now refers to the proper player.
  • Vaporeon (AOR #22): Aqua Effect should now properly apply to Stage 1 Pokémon that enter play after Vaporeon.

 

General

  • Resolved an issue which could cause the OSX client to get stuck in an infinite patching loop.
  • Resolved an issue which could prevent players from properly reconnecting to a match after disconnecting from the game.
  • The Password field on the log in screen now supports up to 50 characters.

 

Gameplay: General

  • GX attacks that are copied by another card now appear properly in the attack selection screen.
  • Pokémon Tool cards attached to a Pokémon BREAK no longer prevent attacks from its previous evolution from being copied by other cards.
  • Protection effects that should only apply to effects of the opponent's attacks no longer incorrectly block retaliation effects from an Ability, Pokémon Tool, or Special Energy.
  • Protection effects that should only apply to effects of the opponent's attacks no longer prevent self-healing effects from your attacks.
  • Stage 1 Pokemon that are evolved into Pokemon BREAK should no longer be affected by the Flare Effect (Flareon, AOR #13) and Electric Effect (Jolteon, AOR #26) Abilities.
  • The Delta Plus Ancient Trait now functions properly when another effect prevents Prize cards from being taken.
  • The mouse wheel can once again be used to scroll through the contents of an opponent's hand during a mulligan or while using an effect that causes the opponent to reveal their hand.

Gameplay: Versus

  • Progress on toward the 2,000 point Versus reward is now properly displayed.

 

Gameplay: Tutorial

  • Resolved an issue which could prevent players from opening the booster pack received at the end of the Tutorial.

 

Cards: Trading

  • The proper icon now displays over the Trade button when the trade preference is set to Closed.
  • Theme decks should now properly appear in the 'I am Giving' section when inspecting a trade.

Shop

  • The Gems balance indicator in the iOS client is no longer visible to players outside of Canada.
